January 24 - PSY, known for his worldwide hit Gangnam Style, recently announced the start of his own entertainment company, P-Nation. The launch of P-Nation comes after PSY announced his departure from YG Entertainment, his label of 8 years. 

Said PSY on his instagram, “ I’ve established a company. A name of which is P NATION. I would like to share things that I’ve learned as a PD/manager/director of PSY for 19 years. Allow me to make a playground for passionate players chasing their dreams with sweats!!”

January 24 - Shortly after announcing the start of P-Nation, PSY welcomed his first signee: solo rapper Jessi. Jessi made her solo debut in 2015 under YMC Entertainment. Her contracted ended in October 2018 and was not renewed.

January 27 - PSY confirmed on his instagram that Hyuna and Hyojong, formerly E’Dawn of Pentagon, have signed on to P-Nation. The announcement came after much speculation by fans, caused by PSY following both the artists on instagram. Both Hyuna and Hyojong were previously under Cube Entertainment, until the company let them go last year after it came to light that the two were in a relationship.
