What a week, huh? (It's still Wednesday).
Been doing more design work lately, and praying that my laptop can still run Inkscape. Work news also been keeping me at the ready, that I hope would have more confirmation some time this week.
Studying has been slow, my period had drained me to the point it urged me to a nap everytime I clocked out. But, I keep my Mondly and Duolingo streak up, as well as some listening immersion with 31 Minutos or Hoy Hablamos podcast. Also been trying Substack for more reading digest.
Pictured: throwback to when I was actively art journaling, especially in my last terms of college to distract myself from the Google Docs and Zoom anxieties. Materials from old magazines, brochures, mindless memo scribblings, marker and watercolor paint.

you wouldn’t know I’m asexual the way I’m all over this glass of ice cold water at 2 in the morning…

I want someone who’ll sit on a rooftop with me at 2 a.m., spilling their favorite songs, their comfort foods, their heartbreaks, their family chaos, and who they secretly miss when they stare at the moon.
Midnight Kitchen:
The fridge hums. The house pretends not to hear me.
The silence is my blanket, and the sadness is my pillow.
I eat sadness out of a chipped bowl, 2 am pressed against my skin.
Every spoon clink is a confession. no one’s listening.
I prefer it that way.
The tiles remember my bare feet. The walls remember my crying.
but the silence? it swallows me whole.
