Only 1 in 10 people with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) are diagnosed in primary care.

Recent research found that only 1 in 10 people in Scotland with a diagnosis of hEDS or HSD, received this diagnosis from their primary care clinician, (hEDS START, Berg and Dockrell 2024).
