i really gotta talk about jj here. and it’s probably going to be word soup. but i HAVE TO. mostly i think i want to praise aj’s acting actually because i don’t even have my jj thoughts fully formed.

aj is crazy good at showing you what jj is feeling just through facial expressions. and of course, everyone on this show is good at that too, but WOW. like when you know jj well, you can just look at her face and now exactly what thoughts are going through her head. that happened multiple times in this episode and that is what made me craziest. i would give you my examples but it genuinely is me cornplating so bad and drawing conclusions from my own understanding of things. lol.

she also looked so pretty in this one it drove me insane. that outfit she wore more of the episode was distressing for me in the best way possible. god. she’s the most beautiful person in the world.

also i gotta say, not loving that they showed this copycat sicarius killer at a college dorm after spending all episode about henry going away. if that stays his target that will at the very least distress jj about him leaving more than she already has been.

i gotta give adam rodriguez some praise too because he plays luke being devastated way too well. like his pain felt so raw and real to me and that really sucked. i had a feeling it was going to be roxy, but that went down in such an upsetting way. for some reason i didn’t think they’d show us all that. poor luke :(

it’s going to be so interesting to see what happens to him having her gone. she was his sole reason to live at one point and definitely still was his biggest reason to exist.

though, i must say, i am simultaneously worried for luke and also excited. my favorite thing is when this show explores suicide and being suicidal as fucked up as that is. i also can’t wait to see what else we can learn about him through all this.
