hey there! i’m kit, i’m 18, and i’m from the uk (currently the midlands, but imma be moving soon for university!)

personally, i really am a nerd for history, literature and the formation of language (would love to speak loads of languages but they just don’t go in so i’m kinda stuck with english and the bits of french & spanish that were forced into me at school) as part of my alevels i wrote a whole long essay on the french revolution and the salem witch trials (separately) so if you want to hear about how cool those were i’d love to write you a shortened and more excited ‘essay’ about those. aside from those, im also fascinated by many other revolutions and civil wars as well as the position of women in history and the activities of normal people.
so much of history that we get taught in schools and stuff is focused on the politics and the actions of people in power and it makes me angry because ordinary people deserve more focus!!!
anyway, i also write short stories and am working on a novel atm, and i sometimes do a little painting although i haven’t done much recently because of my exams, but i’d love to send some of my little scribbles.
if you have really different interests please don’t feel like i’m looking for someone exactly like me- hearing about things i dislike/don’t understand from people who love them is one of life’s most amazing things!
