I do not condone or support the actions of Richard Ramirez. What he did was absolutely horrid.
My name is Lukas, you can call me by my real name if we’re close. I am a 16 year old male.
I am Chinese and Ilocano, but I like to LARP as North Korean.
Very proud communist (if that wasn’t obvious.) I am specifically a Jucheist, but Stalinism is also cool.
I am an Orthodox Christian, I try my best to be one.
Aside from Ramirez, I enjoy learning about ER and Dahmer.
And aside from true crime, i like JJK, TCOAAL, South Park, and Pokemon
Some cool people are: @justin-bieber-artem @dahmerbooty @sew3rsu1cide @confetticannibal @boneyirs @420s6naughtiest9victim @polycest sorry if i forgot to tag! I’ll add you here when i remember

"Do You Hear the People Sing?" used as a protest song in Spain
A while ago I saw this post by @hadleysmis about "Do You Hear the People Sing" being used as a protest song in Hong Kong and it (with some videos of the song being used in protests in the US recently) made me remember that it was used here in Spain too! I've been wanting to make this post for a while but I couldn't do proper research because of exams, but finally here it is!
I talked a bit about it in this post but I'll get into more detail now. It was used by La Solfónica, a chorus made up by activists who adapt songs and sing them during protests. It was formed during the 15M movement. This was a movement that started after a protest on May 15th 2011. I can't explain it very well because I don't remember much as I was a child when it happened but it was a demand for a more participatory democracy and a greater separation of powers, avoiding a two-party system and a protest against the dominance of banks and corporations and many other issues mainly related to the economic crisis we were living. It was very big and it's consecuences last till today.
In this context, La Solfónica was created and they used DYHTPS for the first time during this protests. The video I have is from September 29th, when they sung it in the Neptuno Square in Madrid. I'm not sure but this was probably their own translation of the lyrics as it not similar to the 1992 nor the 2010 ones. Here's the video with subtitles in english:
This was not the only time they sang the song. Here's another video of them singing it during the "marcha de los parados" ("march of the unemployed") a protest against the big unemployment problem in 2013.
They not only sung it on the streets, but they broke into the Congress in 2014 and sung it to protest against the "Ley Mordaza" ("gag law") made basically to try to prevent a new 15M. I've found some news pages online (mats-sanidad and ElDiario.es) that mention a video filmed by a deputy from the inside but I can't find it, not even using wayback machine. Both of them are from December 11th 2014 but a member of La Solfónica mentioned in an interview it was on May 2015. I don't know if it happened twice or this member made a mistake (the law was approved a month later, on June 2015).
This was not the only version of this song they had. I've found a video from May 2018 posted in La Solfónica youtube channel in wich they sing it again with different lyrics. This time they sang the 2010 spanish translation with a few changes to fit the topic of the protest: refugees. In 2018 Spain was the main entrance by sea to Europe and there was a big movement both against and for it. I remember a bit more of it since I was a teenager. Here's the video:
La Solfónica still sings and protest today. On May they were in the protest for Palestine in Madrid. They don't seem to post on their youtube channel anymore but they're active on Twitter/X. I really recommend checking their socials as they have really interesting videos like this one singign for the 8M with other international choirs or this one when they were closing an act while the police was trying to stop it.
It's a very interesting project and really reflects how art is a way of protesting.
this goes for most of my works but i’ve suddenly become aware of the fact 15 minutes will be quite suggestive, like guys my age, and am uncomfortable tagging people w/o an age indicator in it!
please have a wee look at your profile and make sure you have a clear indicator of your age/range in your bio or pinned post, ALTERNATIVELY if u would rather feel free to send an ask/dm just confirming your age 🩷
i tend to only rate my smaus most of my other smaus if they have a lot of a certain content in it (ie smoking weed or v suggestive), & even though there will be absolutely no smut in 15 minutes, it will be suggestive as y/n is posing for playboy in it
my page is listed 16++ but i was absent so long i know some people may have slipped through the gaps and i’ll be honest, i don’t mind as long as you please have an age in bio for taglists
