I was looking for a fic that has Steve and Eddie being in a secret relationship before s4, when he “died” (I don’t remember what exactly happened but Ik he’s not really dead) Steve gets super depressed, I remember he had like a shoe box with all the things Eddie gave him or it was a mixtape of Eddie singing. There’s one time Dustin is crying to Steve about Eddie and bc they were together Steve says something like “We all miss him” or “Ik how you feel and it’s hard” and Dustin explodes bc he thinks Steve knew Eddie only the days of the whole upside down mess, so he yells at Steve and I think that makes Steve explode too and tell Dustin that he and Eddie were together
