So today my copy of The Divine Comedy came in today. I read the first two cantos of Inferno as soon as i opened it, and let me tell you how excited i am to finish the entire comedy!! I've read so much Italian and English literature im my earlier youth, so i am familiar with medieval and romantic poetry . As of now i find this to be a tad more difficult than the Canterbury tales in terms of book length and plot-based settings. The Iliad and The Odyssey are cake work, given they serve as an introductory into historic literature for freshmen. But I'm thrilled to touch back after so long; flipping through the pages brought bursts of vitality. I will definitely be updating you guys on my progress through Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso!

Time for a Godwin family recap!
In the main Godwin household, 3 children were born, one of which passed away:
Alexander Godwin (1301-1307)
Adrian Godwin (1303-)
Phoebe Godwin (1305-)
Also, Amelia is expecting, and the baby is due on the first day of 1310.
In the Godwin side household, 3 children were born and one was stillborn:

Sadly, this household suffered the death of the eldest child, Francis, who was born before the challenge started.

Adrian and Samuel grew closer after Francis' death, and expanded their group of friends to include the Scott twins: Tiffany and August.

Sadly, a few days after Adrian's birthday Francis started to feel sick. He had always had a sickly constitution, but this time it looked like he was not making it. Just a few days short of turning eleven, Francis passed away from consumption, dashing his parents' hopes of him inheriting the family farm.

The whole family got together to celebrate Adrian's birthday. Everyone had a good time, and Adrian finally found more fitting friends in his older cousins: Francis and Samuel. Francis had a more sickly constitution, but Samuel loved the outdoors and was glad to have a more energetic companion.
