#13 ghosts

Secondly, I had a question about your inspirations with GitM. Forgive me if you've answered this somewhere and I haven't seen it. Have you seen the movie "13 Ghosts"? If you have, did you pull any inspiration from it? Because I have gotten The Vibes since I first started reading. IDK why, 13 Ghosts just popped into my head.

Yes! I was super hyperfixated on that film when I was like 12 years old. This is actually why Cricket's brother is called Dennis (though he and his Sight bear little resemblance to the character, I did base much of his personality off the character from the film!). I thought the way the film did clairvoyance is really fun, especially the way its framed as something inherently painful/uncomfortable- more like a disability than a superpower. That really resonated with me and fed into my other inspirations for GITM as a whole ^^ I'm glad that 13 ghosts has GITM vibes and vice versa! Maybe people should listen to crazy uncle Harry when he says don't go into the basement, hmm?
