I really want to write a Spirit Tracks au version of the headcannon that Warriors is Wild's dad, and have a whole bunch of angsty feels and it begins with Wild having small reminders of his dad, because Warriors keeps reminding him of his dad from what he was told by Purah and Flora of his childhood memories. And when Warriors gets the same scar in a battle that his dad has, he gets a memory of asking his dad where he got that scar from, and his dad almost going to tell him but goes into a trance like state for a minute before coming out and his dad apologizes to him that he doesn't remember. From what Wild knows about his dad from some memories he's gain before that one, his dad had amnesia, he was a knight (or something close adjacent) of some kingdom before he lost his arm, his dad could also see ghosts. And Wild doesn't make the connection as he gains more memories of his dad as Warriors gains a few more scars, until he just has his arm left to loose, and Wild freaks the fuck out in the inn they are staying at and unfortunately Legend is the one Wild spills the beans too with Time overhearing, and because Wild worded it in a much more horrifying way, it freaks out both Legend and Time.
"Warriors has to die in order for my father to exist."
And it probably wrong to write amnesia as character death, but in Wild's pov, in order for him to be born, Warrior's entire personality and body must be ripped away and destroyed in order to become the man his father is. Because his father is a stay at home dad (house husband Warriors go brrr), his father has never been in the hyrulean millitary and his father has no past, no memories before he ended up in Hyrule. And Wild feels horrible that if he does anything to prevent Warriors from loosing his memories would that risk him not existing? Or of he did exist still and would he even be the same person anymore? But Wild decided he will take that risk and try to prevent the memory loss his father has. So through a agressive try and prevent Warriors from going off on his own, Wild is not subtle as he thinks he's being, and quiet litterally jumps out in every fight and shopping trip and sticks himself onto Warriors and hisses at people with any sort of attention/intention with his dad.
While Legend and Time are shaking their heads at how non-subtle Wild is being. Twilight and Wind are kinda jealous that Wild and Warriors are hanging out more (when Twi learns from Time why Wild has sticked himseld on the captain he has that very akward feeling of 'oh'), Four thinks its a very long elaborate prank (vio has a conspiracy board), Sky and Hyrule are gathering blackmail, while poor Warriors is confused why Wild is hovering over him. And when Wild needs to leave for TOTK, Wind gets dragged to War of Eras and Warriors gets dragged to his doomed fate that leads to him eventually end up in Wild's era and loosing his memories to become Wild's father. And when wild is done with TOTK his dad gets dropped in his time period and now has to deal with the fact he defineity failed to save Warrior's memories but also has no idea what to do with his dad and is internally panicking the whole time their bonding with each other. Wild is also praying that the Chain will come back soon because he CANNOT do this alone.
But nooo, my brain is stuck on writing crack of Purah de-aging Warriors into his seventeen year old self apperance and Wild freaking the fuck out about his dad is now YOUNGER THAN HIM, as well as his dad has his arm back, the chain still doesn't really know about Warriors being his dad yet, people flirting with his dad, people are showing INTEREST AND ATTRACTED TO HIS DAD-
