You know I always been the one to do for myself. I can't depend on anyone else. So, I just get by somehow. When you came into my life, something changed for me that night. I sit back and wonder where would we be if you were still alive.

I didn't know you were crushing on me back then when you were here. I didn't know that you wanted me to be their. I didn't know that you thought we made a good match. I guess I should have said that I would go with you to that dance.

You ended up with someone else. That sad night, only some made it home. That ain't right. You did the right thing though. You tried to be the man you are, to make sure the girls made it home. You gave them a ride in your car. You didn't make it very far before that beautiful chick went off the road. She totalled both your, and her car's. I guess they needed an internal escort, to make sure they was okay. I couldn't think of a better guy to take them home that day. I just wish it would have had a better ending for everyone somehow, someway.

We went to three funerals in 2 days. We watched as the jaws of life had to cut your way. Some of us were right behind you, and seen the whole thing. We only wish that we still had you all here today. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of each of you. We lost so much, and half of our best friends, it's true. A lot of people really miss you. All I can say is I'm in that group, too.
