1.943. Weimar-Buchenwald railway. Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Weimar, Germany. · · · · · Buchenwald inmates were forced to build a track between Weimar and Buchenwald in three months. This railway served the needs of the Gustloff-Werke factory, but later inmates were also transported on these tracks. From Buchenwald Station were sent transports taking children and sick inmates to Auschwitz where they were murdered. When the SS evacuated the camps in Poland, mass transports were sent to Buchenwald. Genova - Airport Marina 2 (35mm Kodak E 100 VS) by tjshot Airport marina in Genova, Italy. Shot with a Nikon 80-200mm f/4.5 zoom lens on a Nikon F4 film SLR. I liked the Kodak E 100 VS slide film very much, sad that it was discontinued. This particular sample was expired since 10 years and developed after 4 years from shooting. The purple color cast is a result of this abuse but I like the effect in this case. Scanned with a macro setup to an equivalent 5000dpi then resized.
