These photos came up in FB memories and thought I’d share again here! My dear mum Linda contributed 38 of 700 trauma teddies presented to Red Cross Victoria in 2019! Mum still knits 🧶 and is closer to 101 years old! Always putting others before her needs she’s a legend! She is on a roller coaster as we all are in COVID-19 times today she was chipper and could hear me on the phone! Thumbs up to Edie who is in the last video! A lovely lunch and drive around the Island with mum channeling Thelma and Louise saying just keep driving don’t stop see where we end up!😂 We got our fare from the Newhaven Bakery where I got us coffee and vegetable pastie for Ma and I had a satay chicken pie! We drove around to the water to enjoy eating and a sea view! Got going again and drove across to Churchill Island where lots of Cape Barren Geese with babies enjoyed the warm sun! Love the Highland cattle grazing on the lush grassy slopes and couldn’t resist the young black one licking a rock inside a tyre! Reminded me of Jenny who licks cushions, the leather couch and her rugs!😂 From there we continued our journey to The Nobbies, with breathtaking views all around and more CB Geese with young! Most have grown up chicks but the last pic here was a pair with tiny chicks!
