I was too devoted to eating breakfast I had no time to read, but I can guess –– another beheading in the deserts of the Middle East, the fertile crescent fecund with innocent foreign blood, it’s the same sad tragedy everyday. Today Iraq lifted the curfew in Bagdad  first time since the U.S. invasion in ’03, meanwhile Target is pulling out of Canada –– I can’t pretend I know the details but I’m having trouble breathing in China, who calls Obama a jerk because met with the Dalai Lama spreading his middle-ground zen goodness that I hope to channel in my own writing, having read Kerouac. The news cannot document the human consciousness, we are Heaven, not a war zone of beliefs and ignorances and power and I want to say stupidity, too, but my knowledge is superficial, only 10-word headlines for am impatient mind, overwhelmed by the details of deaths & technology & market finances, what is my responsibility –– I just turn off my devices & drink juice with peanut butter toast.
