elodie doesn’t get desperate. she gets what she wants. 

so it’s not desperation that leads her to alex, not in the slightest. it’s drive, her drive to get what she really wants, to be a further thorn in anais side and secure her a place on the archery team. 

“alex.” not desperation, drive-- it’s what makes her smile sweetly, sliding up to the other hwaseong student. her ex-boyfriend of all people. “are you busy?” not that she really cared. not that she ever really cared. 

“because i need something from you.” she lets her fingers dance along his arm, much too friendly for the status of their relationship-- or lack of, rather. “and i’d really owe you one.” is she attempting to bribe him when she really has no standing to throw bribes on, of course.
