What is an aspect of your muse’s canon material or canonexistence that you never had the opportunity to explore but really want to?
Ooh I know I’ve probably mentioned it a few times, but I’d love to have a thread with a younger Felassan. I’d also love to explore the time between the Veil going up and then the shit that goes down in TME. I do have a small headcanon that he wakes up periodically (like Abelas), then goes back to snoozing and so he kinda got to see the world change. I’d really like to do that but I know there are no muses set in or around that time period. Of course, we don’t actually know if Felassan is actually an ancient elf or not, despite all the times the book implied it.
For book muses, what is your muse’s favorite scene? Why? Canyou provide a short excerpt?
I honestly like every scene that he’s in tbh. I’m not sure if this is addressed to me or Fel aha. But one of my favorites, is when Briala and Felassan are standing outside the Dalish camp, and Briala was trying to get him to help her. But I do love how dangerous it makes Felassan seem, when he’s been really laid back and silly the rest of the book.
“She cocked her head, deliberately mimicking Felassan’s own body language. “Are you even Dalish?”Felassan stepped forward again, until his face was inches from hers, and all she could see were his eyes and the tattoos around them. “Do you want to know the answer to that question, da’len, or do you want my help?”It was still raining on her, and briala thought that meant she as in no real danger, that Felassan was not preparing his magic to strike her dead if she answered wrong. But it strucker, staring into those eyes, that if anyone could be so controlled, so tightly coiled, as to keep his magical tells in check on those occasions when he was truly ready to kill, it would be her mentor. As if hearing her thoughts, he quietly said, “That wasn’t a rhetorical question.”She swallowed. “I want your help, hahren.”“Good.” And with that, he pulled her into a hug. “And because I know you were wondering, you were the flower. Now…” He stepped back, and his grin was now predatory but familiar and safe, at least for Briala. “…let us go kill some itchweed.”
