but if i was to write one, i’d have to read books by, of, and for woc, would also have to listen/talk to a woc to learn about their struggles etc! cos i, a white woman, could never articulate those and their life properly without really immersing myself in their culture! just the same as when that person asked if i’d write a trans main character: i’d be honoured! tho i have so much respect for everything you’ve overcome and are going through - things i never have and never will cos of white privilege - and love for everyone not to represent you in a respectful and proper way!
