I cannot let the Macdennis brainworms fester in my head, honestly, cos I was so fully expecting nothing from this season, but yeah I really, really am having a hard time moving past the fact that they're both experiencing overindulgence and burnout in their individual sex lives (and both admitting the lack of joy its bringing them) while they're getting along better than they have in over a decade.

Angeal sees his parents acting weird in purple Jenova-esque visions and literally says, “THEY WOULD NOT FUCKING SAY THAT” and breaks free like an absolute chad while Sephiroth is over in the corner writing himself dozens of hurt/comfort AUs where his doting mother makes him soup and takes him to Disneyland and puts bandaids on his scraped knees and yeah this is the plot of First Soldier so far, is very good 👍
