I like to imagine that as Goemon and Eris’s relationship grows deeper, there’s this lil moment where he finally lets her hold his sword. Because canonically, we know he hates when anyone touches Zantetsuken. It’s basically his soul, his pride, everything. He’s never let anyone willingly touch it, not even his closest friends.
So when he wordlessly offers it to Eris, it’s his way of saying, “I trust you.” And when she takes it, she can’t help but smile because she knows what that means. Out of everyone, she’s the one he trusts most. :’D🫶🏻💞
