On Orufrey interaction of episode 6 (no major spoilers but frames taken from manga!).
It is interesting to watch the first interaction between Orufrey in the story, as even though it is a fight, it shows only how much these two trust and understand each other.
I generally loved how the scene of their conversation was adapted. Specifically, the scene where Olruggio *threatens* to give Coco to the Knights Moralis (sorry not to include scenes from the anime; I have no idea how to do it on tumblr right after the episode came out, just trust me).
In manga, we see Qifrey in a relaxed pose when Olruggio tells him how he would deal with Coco's case. In anime, the pose is not preserved, but the creators chose to insert a pause as Orufrey look at each other instead, which is so, so precious, as it shows both the tension between them and how calm Qifrey is. He is not scared by Olruggio, or rather, Olruggio has no power over him. He ignores Olruggio's words just to answer Coco's question as a person who knows Olruggio very well and knows that everything that Olruggio says and what makes him sound blunt in the first interaction is actually a showcase of his care and responsibility. The scene in manga is supposed to make a reader feel like these two have known each other for a long time, and the anime adapts it, too - Qifrey stays peaceful throughout their conversation.
I also loved how grateful his look turns in anime when Olruggio tells him to do what he wishes. Again, a feeling hidden not in words, but in the way they look at each other, the way they share the silence.
So, I am happy to see Olruggio, and I like seeing the changes made to the original! In my opinion (fresh from the first watch, so it may change, of course), the changes preserve the meaning of the scenes while using different media to tell the story (well, that is what adaptation is for).
Great moment.
can we please talk about this
because it's giving
and it's making me feel thingsss
Inspired by a very iconic figure...
I'm writing one of the upcoming scripts and a character that I love (to hate) is going to be introduced and I know he's gotta go hard, like really, genuinely a terrible, cruel person, but he's interacting with a character that people really like so how hard is too hard.
I want people to hate him but I also don't want to have to deal with people saying "if you like this character you condone xyz and also you killed my grandma in cold blood" lol
(The answer is that people are going to want this guy's head on a pike by the time I'm through and I wouldn't have it any other way)

Posted it on Twit already, but for those of you not on that flaming turd of a website, behold! The Stupid Ass Ship Chart for my Pulse of the Machine boys.
I'm just sayin', Starstruck and Kirby would be adorable. But also Starstruck and Meta-Knight might be the funniest thing you could possibly do. :)
hear me out: peter pan (2003) window scene
been staunchly avoiding typing too much on most of these but i have some thoughts about this one!
there's an argument to be made on behalf of me not having access to the internet 😅
