henry-parrish replied to your post āthe truth come out: does ichabod crane is worldās oldest hypocrite????ā
My Henry has mixed feelings XD it's like, "How does it feel to be like me, father? Don't you see how tempting it is? Like father like son" and on the other hand he's also like, "????????"
actual picture of abe when he gets wind of this fuckshitĀ
my best friend wouldnāt stop giving me shit for becomingĀ a horseman of the apocalypse but then turned around and also became one Ā moodboardĀ

Me me me! Your headcannons are freaking awesome compared to thisā¦.thisā¦.*pbbbbbbbbbt* fox did to Headless.
my headcanon is that death is itās own entity. Itās not sentient, it just is. Itās been around since the dawn of life, and will be around until life ends. At some point forces figured out how to bind death to a host/avatar, thus turning it into a Horseman, but it doesnāt needĀ be bound to a person to exist.Ā
Abraham and death areĀ one in the same, but both can exist without the other, and thus there is a line that does separate them. Thatās why Abe isnāt a mindless drone, itās why he still has his own personality.Ā
Death can also continue to exist even if itās host is indisposed. It cannot free itself from the host, but it doesnāt stop being around if the host isnāt. While Abe was in stasis for those 250 years Death was still observing, it was still learning.Ā
Death has infinite knowledge, and Abe has access to it. Itās not like aĀ āthe little voice in my head gives me random factsā type of thing, itās an instinctual thing. Itās why way back in the pilot Abe was able to use modern firearms with ease, while Ichabod had to be told thereās more than one bullet in a gun.Ā
Death knew, and Death gave the instincts to Abraham.
Death also amplifies Abrahamās own personality, since the line that separates them is veryĀ thin. Itās thick enough that Abraham is aware of it, but thin enough that he can never find it until after heās done something.Ā
It doesnāt help that he doesnāt particularly try to control it, either.Ā
Also, Death doesnāt just freely give all itās knowledge to him. Frankly, thereās too much for that even if It wanted too. Death knows things Abraham is literally unable to comprehend, and even if he lives for a millennium while tied to it, he still wont have the ability to understand everything Death knows.Ā Ā

hhhh i came up w/ a thing for abe and tania i wanna do but im likeĀ
āreese you owe actual fucking repliesā
anyway since im an uncreative asshole that likes to project onto my muses, for your consideration:
abe w/ chronic pain.Ā
abe who stopped being susceptible to death centuries ago but learned quickly he wasnāt immune to the symptoms of it.Ā
abe setting his own broken bones so nothing heals incorrectly, the grating snapĀ and popĀ filling the hessian camps as he pushes a dislocated shoulder back where it should be or as he pulls a finger back into place.Ā
abe who feels it every second someoneās bullet or sword rips into his tissue, and then again as his body sews the wound back together.Ā
the deep, ever present acheĀ that curls up and settles into his muscle within a few short years, and the knife that grinds in his hip every time he dismounts his horse.Ā
abeās footsteps, falling heavy and loud with every slow, measured step he takes. his axe glowing in his hand as he spins it almost compulsively, reminding himself that the horseman of death does not get to limp.
itās called investigative journalism, yāall
