Current favorite song: I dunno about favourite, but I’ve had “Hollywood” by Marina and the Diamonds stuck in my head for about two weeksÂ
Last series: I assume this means the last series I finished watching? I think that would’ve been season 2 of Owl House, which I greatly enjoyed
Favorite colors: Green, purple, grey and brown
Last song: “Deep breath deep breath” by Kawamura Yumi and Lotus Juice (Persona 3)
Last movie: Buzz, which I found forgettably okay? I liked the first sequence with the time travel and the robot cat was really good, but the rest of it wasn’t that interesting for me
Sweet, savory or spicy: I like sweet best, but my teeth are no longer my friends, so we can’t have it haha
Craving: Tuna sandwich
Currently working on: zagreus’s zany time travel antics (guest-starring long-haired theseus) which is a Hades Game fic in which Zagreus finds himself sent back in time to when Theseus was a living hero. Zagreus joins him on his quests, trying (and failing) not to disrupt the flow of time too much in the process.
I’m very excited about this fic! I’ve had the idea since late last year, but kept putting it on hold because I had a lot of other projects with actual deadlines to work on. Now that I’m finally working on it, the fic is taking shape in a lot of different ways than I’d originally planned and I’m having fun with it. In the latest chapter, my boy Momus finally made a proper appearance, after being teased a bunch of times. And soon Zagreus & Theseus will be on their way to a certain Labyrinth where a certain Minotaur is waiting (and also a certain Guy Who’s Famous For Flying Too Close To The Sun)

003 - an OC of yours of your choice you wanna talk about :D
I mean... obviously I'm gonna pick Momus
How I feel about this character: I still kind of can't believe Momus happened? I write this same asshole in every fandom I'm in, so when I needed two villains for a Hades fic I was writing, I ended up going with "smug bastard twink" again for one of them. Originally, I'd had some ideas to use Momus and his twin sister Oizys in a modern day fic, with the two of them acting as guides for Zagreus when he visited the surface. But I much prefer the idea I went for with using Momus as a villainous sidekick for Heracles.
The idea behind Momus in the fic he first appears in was to have a villain to counter Theseus - someone who would become stronger by drawing power from Theseus's own insecurities, thus forcing Theseus to deal with these issues. Making Momus more insecure than Theseus himself seemed like a natural progression and with Momus being the God of Criticism and Mockery (amongst other things), giving him a crush on Heracles, the most overrated Greek hero of all, seemed like an amusing addition as well.
But then the folks reading the fic had such a strong reaction to Momus - it gave me life every time someone told me they hated him or loved to hate him, because that meant I was doing my job right. After that, I found that I was paying more attention to Momus and that his antics were the highlight for many readers, even more than the canon characters themselves, which I've never had happen with an OC before.
Needless to say, I love Momus a lot and will probably keep writing him for as long as folks want to see him.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Heracles, ofc! But I also like shipping him with Theseus and Zagreus in the context of the various fics he's appeared in. In the RPs that I play Momus in, I also ship him with Icarus, Morpheus (in this version, Morpheus isn't Pasithea & Hypnos's son lol) and Eros. In general, I also think shipping him with Dionysus would be fun. I'll ship Momus with a lot of characters, really.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Momus & Pasithea!
My unpopular opinion about this character: Can you have an unpopular opinion about your own OC?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That's the magic of him - anything I want to happen to him, I can simply write to make happen.
my het ship: No het ships for Momus. I went back and forth a bit at first, but while I usually default to making my OCs bisexual, Momus is the one time that I'm like "actually, this one is gay". He doesn't realise that himself yet, though.
my fem/slash ship: I mean, all of the ships listed above. If I was gonna crossover ship him it'd be Momus x Thor or Momus x Loki lmao
my OTP: Momus x Heracles
my OT3: Momus x Heracles x Morpheus x Icarus
a head cannon fact: Momus and Oizys were identical twins when they were first created by Nyx and were both genderless back then. But as they each got older, they grew into their separate roles and decided on a gender identity they preferred, as well as coming to have appearances that were completely different from one another.

1. Have you ever deleted a draft that you had been working on for ages?
You know what, I genuinely don't know if I have. I'm a sucker for keeping files, just in case. There was even a segment of Grasping Liquid that was rendered not canon soon after I started writing the fic, but I kept it and uploaded it as bonus content years later when I finished the main fic.
7. What character would you love to write more of?
I'm going to go for the "back by unpopular demand: me" answer and say Momus lol. There's still a ton more ideas I have for him that I really want to write once I've gotten through all of my other writing commitments that I've been stalling on. Maybe Momus can be my reward to encourage me to write everything else?
8. What character would you like to take a small break from?
Asterius from Hades Game. I feel like I wrote a lot of him during Asterius August and I do have one more fic featuring him that I hope to get written for February, but other than that, I think I'm all out of stuff I want to write about him for the time being.

Momus:
Sexuality HC: Gay. He thinks he's bi at this point in the RP, but he is gay.
Favorite ship(s): Momus/Heracles, obvs, but I also like Momus/Morpheus and the awful Momus/Theseus stuff as well
Brotp: Momus, Hypnos & Icarus
Notp: Uhhh... Momus/Asterius?
Happy HC: Momus thrives in the modern era and has basically been waiting his whole existence to live in this time period so he can drive everyone mad by becoming a memelord. I also love describing his awful outfits too much.
Angsty HC: Nyx never acknowledges him and this hurts him more than he admits.
Random HC: If he existed in the actual game, he'd be a character who screws over the player late into a run (probably only spawning from Elysium onwards). He takes any perks you've gotten from gods and makes it so instead of doing plus the base damage, it does minus the base damage (although obvs caps before ur doing no damage at all). Because I'd want players to reeeally hate him. Like "I was doing so well, but then I ran into Momus and he ruined it!" Seems fitting for the God of Mockery.
General opinion: I am highkey obsessed with Momus in a way that I've never been this invested in one of my own OCs before. How dare he do this to me.
OKAY, EVERYONE ELSE UNDER THE CUT:
Heracles:
Sexuality HC: Bi, also a furry
Favorite ship(s): Momus/Heracles again, though I love how soft he is for Morpheus in the recent RPs
Brotp: I feel like him and Icarus could be this once they know each other better
Notp: I mean, there's a lotta ppl who deserve better than this guy
Happy HC: Like, you've already set him on this path of awesome character development to the point that I actually want good things for him for the first time. I hope that the clown parade have an excellent world tour together and that he can start to trust himself again.
Angsty HC: His canon is angsty enough
Random HC: He has a preference for twinks, whether he wants to admit it or not.
General opinion: I can't believe you've made me stan Heracles now. He's shot up my fave characters roster. The banter that him and Momus has is top tier, but then the genuinely emotional moments between them hit just as hard. You can actually see how much they've been through together and how, now they've got their feelings out in the open, they genuinely love each other and want this to work. UGHHH I LOVE THEM
Pasithea:
Sexuality HC: I mean, she's your OC, but I assume she's bi
Favorite ship(s): Pasithea/Oizys
Brotp: Pasithea & Zagreus
Notp: None really? Even after everything, I don't really dislike Pasithea/Momus, although it's best they both realised that wouldn't have worked out
Happy HC: She becomes queen and everyone respect her like they should!
Angsty HC: Her whole situation with Thanatos and that she didn't get the closure she deserved.
Random HC: She do be liking them goths tho
General opinion: I love Pasi! I think she's just as much the main character as Momus is at this stage and I'm glad that her whole arc showed her giving the middle finger to everyone who oppressed her and coming out on top.
Morpheus:
Sexuality HC: I honestly don't know :0
Favorite ship(s): Momus/all of his simps (Icarus, Momus & Heracles)
Brotp: They only had that one short scene, but I like Morpheus & Pluteus
Notp: None yet
Happy HC: He gets to travel the world and everyone simps him like he deserves
Angsty HC: There has been enough angst in this man's life. The time for angst is over.
Random HC: He is an unsuitable replacement for owning a thesaurus and should not be used in such a way.
General opinion: Another top favourite! I love the directions you've gone in with him, the whole "he's a doll come to life so Pasithea and Hypnos could cheat the Fates and not have kids" angle is brilliant and he's definitely a character who I'm always keen to see what will happen to him next.
Icarus:
Sexuality HC: bisexual and sweaty
Favorite ship(s): Icarus/Morpheus and Icarus/Momus so far
Brotp: Icarus, Momus & Hypnos, also potentially Icarus & Heracles
Notp: Icarus/Zagreus LMAOOO
Happy HC: He might not be an inventor, but he eventually finds his true calling in being a technician and becomes incredibly successful with his skills for improving upon inventions that have already been made.
Angsty HC: He's fuckin icarus. everyone knows that story lol
Random HC: His whole existence is one big joke that Momus will never stop laughing at.
General opinion: He's still finding his feet as a character, but I have high hopes for Icarus and think we'll get a lot of mileage out of him.
Oizys:
Sexuality HC: Obstinately gay
Favorite ship(s): Oizys/Pasithea
Brotp: I mean, she had a good friendship with Pluteus before the timeskip, so hopefully she still does
Notp: Oizys/Pluteus as a romo ship
Happy HC: God I hope she can be happy someday.
Angsty HC: She's not as co-dependent as she claims to be and played up needing Momus's help when they were growing up so that he wouldn't leave her.
Random HC: Oizys gets a slight kick out of the concepts she's goddess of, but doesn't realise when they overwhelm her.
General opinion: It's complicated, but I want to hope she figures it all out.
Pluteus:
Sexuality HC: Ace/Aro
Favorite ship(s): Maybe they'll figure it out with Aphrodite again one day
Brotp: Pluteus & Oizys, also Pluteus & Pasithea is funny
Notp: Pluteus & depression
Happy HC: Pluteus is happy to be a terrible actor who believes that they're a great actor.
Angsty HC: I feel like there's a sense of not being fulfilled inside Pluteus, but they don't want to address it.
Random HC: Pluteus will always refer to Pasithea as their mother, whether she likes it or not. Sorry Pasi.
General opinion: I like Pluteus as the occasional support character and they're excellent for comic relief, but they're one character who I don't think needs to be part of a bigger story.
...Okay, so there's also Daedalus, Nemesis, Eris and a few others, but I think that I've covered most of the ones who've had a lot of focus for now? Let me know if I missed anyone :0

He throws his sword, lodging it in the trunk of a tree. But the impact does not satisfy him. Perhaps, upon returning to Athens, he shall take up the spear once more.
His throw dodge, however, dislodge something that had been watching him from above. The same felidae creature that he had rejected without room for misinterpretation earlier claws its way to keep a hold of the branch where it's been perched.
“Hey, watch where you're throwing that thing!”
“Bother me not, foul beast,” Theseus laments, as he walks to the trunk of the tree to retrieve his sword, “Can you see not that I am on a trail of utmost importance and have not the time to be tempted by your wicked charms?”
The felidae shifts to lie on the branch in a manner that looks too comfortable for Theseus's liking, regarding him with irritating smugness. It takes all of the prince's efforts not to aim a second throw of the sword to make a point.
“You made the “not tempted” part pretty clear earlier, but missed me with the important trail thing. Looks to me like you're just stomping around in a mood.”
“In a mood? Not I! Nay, I am looking for my wayward betrothed, who has in her ignorance wandered off into these forests, where she may fall prey to savage beasts, such as yourself. Although... perhaps more dangerous than yourself, since you do look rather pathetic.”
7. Does your OC like their natural hair color or do they dye it? What styles do they prefer?
Momus's hair is naturally black, like his mother's. Its inclined towards being wavy, but he does care a lot about making it appear effortlessly so and not too curly
8. What was your OC’s most embarrassing moment? Does it still bother them or are they able to shrug it off?
Oh, I can pull this one from mythology! Momus's most embarrassing moment is actually not when he got kicked out of Olympus (which would make way too much sense), but instead was when he was caught saying Aphrodite is without flaw. He hates it soooo much that people heard him saying that and now everyone thinks that Aphrodite is beyond even his criticism lol
9. Is your OC laid back or do they thrive on drama? What role do they play in their group of friends/associates?
He lives on drama! If there is not drama happening, he is actively making it happen. Because of this, he obviously doesn't have a lot of friends, save for other people who also thrive on drama, so they can all be terrible together. However, his nose for gossip does make him handy amongst associates and even those who hate him will reluctantly admit that they may use him for information from time to time. Whether the information he gives them is reliable or not stems from both how troublesome Momus is feeling at the time and/or how out of his favour that person is
Favorite character: Zenitsuuu! Tho Nezuko is a close second :D
Least Favorite character: So far, all of the Hashira except for Shinobu and Tomioka. Cuz we've just had this huge group of quirky characters all dropped in our lap at the same time, told they're the strongest ever and that we have to care about them. I'm kinda waiting to be given a reason to care about most of them.
Character I find most attractive: Honestly? This is one of those series where I don't find the style very "attractive" in that sense
Character I would marry: I would marry the villain guy, cuz that seems to be the way to stay safe from him
Character I would be best friends with: Nezuko!!
a random thought: I really like that this series ended its first season with a long "downtime" arc focusing on the recovery of the main characters after the violence they've been through. You don't see that very often in shonen, basically forgoing a big season finale, and I prefer it this way.
An unpopular opinion: I mean, Zenitsu is my fave character and I gather that he's pretty unpopular, since he IS a whiny crybaby brat. But that's why I love him.
my canon OTP: Tamayo/Yushiro
Non-canon OTP: Zenitsu/Nezuko, unless they magically become canon later on :0
most badass character: Shinobuuu!
pairing I am not a fan of: I don't know the fandom enough to know about the ships. But I guess I didn't see the big deal with that Rengoku guy and I think people ship him with Tanjiro a lot, so maybe that?
character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): The Hashira, simply because they should've paced the introduction of these characters (like they did with Tomioka and Shinobu) to give them the impact they were going for.
favourite friendship: The main four characters have a super cute friendship!
character I want to adopt or be adopted by: Not Tanjiro's family lol
Senku/Gen
when of if I started shipping it: Pretty soon after Gen was introduced. I knew SenGen was a popular ship prior to Gen's appearance and it didn't take long for me to see why people love them.
my thoughts: SenGen is an excellent ship, no matter how you ship it. I like ace-aro Senku and Gen just cheerfully adopting to the role of Senku's house husband, since that seems to be what they're going for anyway.
What makes me happy about them: I've only seen up to s2 of the anime, but from what I've heard, even when the story cycles through flavour of the month companions for Senku, Gen ALWAYS sticks by Senku's side. And this makes me happy, cuz I hate in shonen when protag gets new friends that he suddenly starts to ignore the old cast (hello Yugioh GX). So, it's good for me to know that this won't happen with Senku and Gen.
What makes me sad about them: That it's probably not gonna be endgame, no matter how much more sense it makes than any other option, simply because shonen doesn't do that. :(
things done in fanfic that annoys me: I haven't read enough fanfics to know.
things I look for in fanfic: I just want to read silly fics based on the English dub with fun dialogue.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Senku will always be with science no matter what!! As for Gen, maybe the archer guy?
My happily ever after for them: I have no idea where this series is going, but I'd like to think that Senku uses science to continually improve society and Gen sticks by his side.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: Gen WANTS to be the little spoon, but Senku doesn't get it, so Gen has to be the big spoon if he wants any cuddling at all.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Senku's is talking about science and Gen's is listening to Senku talking about science.
Icarus
How I feel about this character: After Momus, he's my next big fave new OC and definitely took the torch from Daichi for the "excitable unit who seems cheerful but has deeper issues than he wants anyone to know".
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Morpheus, ofc! But also definitely Apollo, Momus and Heracles. Icarus is just one of those characters who instantly has chemistry with others. I also still like Icarus/Zagreus simply because it didn't work out and Icarus has a pretty unique annoyance towards Zagreus.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: In "canon" for Greek myths it'd be Icarus & Asterius. I dunno about in the RPs, since Icarus is bad at making friends. Maybe Icarus & Hypnos, even if I wouldn't blame Hypnos for not wanting to see him again after The Wrong Name thing.
My unpopular opinion about this character: Icarus is cooler than his brother and Apollo is wrong for not seeing that!!
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Oh, I think lots of excellent things are going to happen for Icarus.
my het ship: Icarus x Tisiphone, at least with Icarus having his crush on Tisiphone. I doubt it's requited tho
my fem/slash ship: All of the ships mentioned above. Maybe also Eros depending on what happens.
my OTP: At the moment it's still Icarus x Morpheus, BUT WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH APOLLO. I also genuinely love the bonds he has with Momus and Heracles individually, so it's hard to choose.
my OT3: Icarus x Morpheus x Momus x Heracles
a head cannon fact: Icarus will never successfully invent anything, but he excels on improving on inventions that already exist, especially Daedalus's work. He has no idea how useful this would make him in the modern era. He also has the potential to reach godhood, but is too caught up in the "I'm just a mortal" mantra from his father to even think about it.
