What is Xtale Yoko like? And what’s her standing on XGaster? Friendly and functioning? Or she ready to rip that man to shreds?

Xtale Yoko is far more chill, not timid like her daughter but like....relax

The details obviously vary depending what X Gaster is doing with the god button and what timeline exactly they're in of their world but the thing about classic Yoko is to some extent she was a bitter ole' hag

Understandably so, immensely traumatized, little support, single mom, physically disabled with chronic pain issues, only having those issues due to fighting a war you didn't want and then called a traitor after the fact for your heritage then endlessly shunned, mocked & hated by the people you fought for....

Yoko is angry and fed up with the world, she isnt evil (Underfell and maaaaybe Epictale Yoko are the exception but I'm still working on the details so this could change), but she's overly aggressive, short tempered and over the top

I said she was similar to Undyne but the key difference between them is....anger, as long as Undyne deems you not a threat she is friendly. Yoko is only soft to a select few

While the war did happen in Xtale, Yoko wasn't injured quite as badly and any of her post-war struggles didnt happen or really didnt play out to the same extent

-> No discrimination for being half human (doesn't make sense when Frisk is literally right there)

-> Her reputation isn't in the dumps either

-> No falling out with Asgore, she has a stable support group that allows her to be a better parent & she is still a royal guard....just less in the front lines and more about paper work (not sure if captain would be her title but she's still highly ranked)

Xtale Yoko is still Yoko, she follows rules when she wants to, headstrong, stubborn, sassy amd takes no one's shit. Just happier and less likely to bite someone's head off

But here's another twist

X Gaster did not make her....at all

Blah blah blah when he started work on his universe he got all the undertale characters, the route I take with Sans & Yuri is they are soulmates in every universe

Every Sans has a Yuri and every Yuri has a Sans

Naturally Gaster made a Yuri for his Sans

But he didnt make Yoko, Yuri in this world was always intended to be an orphan

The moment X Gaster opened his world to others he let her in, his world cannot exist without her and he can't get rid of her no matter what he does. He doesn't like her. He hates her. He is foaming at the point PUT THAT THING BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM OR SO HELP HIM HE DOESNT WANT A SOULMATE ESPECIALLY NOT HER

And Yoko is just like "lmao"

From the start she's always known his game, essentially the only that has ever met him on an even playing field in his mind & it drives him nuts. Yoko is just here for a good time and likes challenging him

She's more so has a weird fondness for him but she definitely is not above beating his ass, she still Yoko and her arms are always ready to take that twink to suplex city

The two later do end up working together as a duo with reluctant but still prominent respect for each other
