i wonder if aliens would be subject to the corruptions of chaos
sure they’re mortal (we presume), but they are would largely not be the same mortals that the gods are made up of. several sources specifically say the gods are reflections of the Old World races. Would an alien, who might not have the biology or even be able to feel emotions in the first place, be partially or totally immune to the many of the non-offensive spells or curses or whatever? Beyond the reach of the gods?

✱ My Peter suffers from severe Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This is an issue derived from his speed, and he showed symptoms from very early infancy. For him, it goes beyond the need to be constantly in motion and being often distracted, it also causes him learning difficulties and issues when socializing. He not only has trouble keeping up with conversation at times, but he can eventually have trouble understanding it. When he does carry a flowing conversation, he tends to speak too quickly, more often that not too much and constantly blurts out and interrupts out of mere need to speed it up. Growing into his teen & adult years, this also derived in mild conduct & oppositional defiant disorders, which manifest as constant pranks or dares, theft and vandalism habits and very occasional hurtful insults and offenses.Before joining the X-Men, this caused most people from outside his family to find him extremely odd and exasperating, a factor that alongside the discrimination and hatred towards mutants the world developed, caused him to little by little wind up in a state of almost absolute isolation. How does he manage to save the day if he has issues focusing, and even more so focusing under pressure? That’s when DDNOS kicks in.
✱ He also suffers from mild to severe Dissociative Disorder. This is a disorder derived both from the perception of the world his speed gives him and the fear he has of being hunted as a mutant. For him, this manifests by him showing no trace of panic or alert when being exposed to intense situations ( ex : the explosion and breaking inside the pentagon ). This false sense of security comes from the fact that when he uses his speed in this stressful scenarios, he dissociates by handling his body though as if he is looking at himself running from an outside perspective, which combined with the mild conduct issues mentioned above, results in him posing or doing funny things for the sake of the view. In a way, it fuels his bravado and is one of the key factors to keeping him unintimidated, quick thinking and corageous during high stake moments. Although it may seem very useful and he views it positively, feeling protected by his power, it is also present in deeper situations. It calms the anger he feels towards his father and the sense of loneliness that comes from being who and what he is, because he sees Magneto’s son as someone different from Peter, and Peter as someone different from the rest of the world he lives in. When severe, it can cause him to do downright destructive and reckless things.
