QUESTIONS
1. What would be their Twitter name? What sort of tweets would they tweet? honestly his handle would be probably a serial number string—nothing fancy, nothin fancy. function over form. like uh…”SDW061901v1230”. they would probably only use it because someone bothered him enough to make one. maybe he’d post pictures from his hard drive? which would all be nature pictures for the most part.
2. What’s their favorite genre of movies? Of music? shadow loves history, although he prefers non-fiction documentaries so he doesn’t confuse things stored in his hard drive. he makes a conscious effort to file certain memories away in certain folders, since his own from the original shadow are so precious, even though they’re few.
for music, he prefers things with only one or two instruments. big orchestras and lush layers of sound are a heavy emotional load for him, so those are only for special occasions when he’s prepared for it.
3. What’s on their top queue on Netflix? classics and documentaries, mostly! things that are hard to find pretty much.
4. What’s their favorite scent? Do they smell like that? probably grass and fresh tilled earth. he most decidedly doesn’t smell like that—he smells very neutral, with a very faint hint of hot metal if you really stick your nose in his fur and inhale.
5. Apple or Android? function over form, android. it’s also easier to crack under the hood on those devices, which shadow likes to do.
6. Favorite season? Least favorite season? his favorite is spring, when everything comes alive again after the long, cold winter. his least favorite is late winter—everything’s been cold and still for so long, desperate to revive. however, the first snow is always magical.
[NSFW] 7. Are they a top, bottom, or versatile? shadow has little interest in sex, but i think he’d be able to fit any role thrown at him. so yeah, he’d be pretty vers depending on his partner.
8. Describe their morning routine. Do they wake up early or sleep in? Do they press the snooze button a bunch of times or do they immediately get up? being an android, he doesn’t really need to sleep, but he does shut down at night for a regular sleep schedule to further preserve both his mechanical and organic parts. if he’s in a safe place, he’ll shut down completely, hooking himself up to a power supply that will turn him on based on a timer. otherwise, he’ll put himself into “hibernate” mode, able to stir himself at anytime. all that said, he tends to be both an early riser and a night owl, only needing about 4-5 hours of sleep at a time.
9. If they were to be compared to a canon character, who would that be? even though this is canon-divergent, there’s always…shadow himself. i guess maybe EDI from mass effect? marshall in the dime tower from sword of mana? i dunno. cool friendly quiet robot friends.
