I think the reason for this unique pedestal that only they exist on, is that they created it.

why did they do this, you ask? because when they were 11 and 9 respectively, they watched their baby sister receive no gift and no one knew why. they heard what people in the town said, about her and what it meant. They saw how it was effecting their family, how their Tìo left and how worried everyone was. how helpless everyone was.

this is a valid point you've made about the Fork men. They're an icon in their daily activities and a menace in their ideologies and morals (I will acknowledge these scenes while also begrudging the methodology behind their approach to social issues)

I don't think the art of Forkle does him justice, I must admit. This man crushed three dwarves just by falling on top of them and it was said that he could barely fit through the tunnel to Aluveterre in Neverseen, so I think he should be much fatter than he was drawn. He just looks like the stereotype of a white dad. This man could put on khaki shorts and a baseball cap and go golfing and I wouldn't question it.

Dwarves are smaller than people, right? i have a memory of them being closer to gnome size, so we could assume they're like a large child size. This man crushed three large children with his bodyweight. Just plop and boom they were no longer a problem--that's another thing!! It wasn't like one of those drawn out fights if I'm remembering this right, he just crushed them and it was a done deal. I don't think he killed them, but definitely incapacitated all three in one hit at once. That is...impressive.

Also I forgot about the beanbag until you brought it up! I wonder if constantly shifting between different forms with a different distribution of weight has made it difficult to do things that require coordination and awareness of your body like standing up in his Forkle form--though if he was the Forkle that stayed Forkle throughout Sophie's childhood he'd likely be more used to that than anything else by now. So were this scene actually meant to have any meaning and not just meant to make light and tease him, I'd guess that it was the brother who'd been in the Lost Cities the entire time serving as elf Forkle.

However I'm getting off topic. This man is a whole entire mood. Depending on the size of the beanbag and the density (i don't know the right word. how fluffy/stuffed it is?) of it I too may not be able to escape for several minutes. I am short. Wait maybe Forkle is also short and that just added to his inability to escape the beanbag.

I don't remember the exact scene but in my head not only was he struggling the get out of the beanbag but was trying to remain composed and have a serious conversation during the whole ordeal. And no one helped him. they just casually talked to him while he was struggling and think that's hilarious. i don't think that's canon so I'd have to check, but it's truly a beautiful mental image.

So true anonstie. Especially if Frosta and/or Glimmer gets to chase Catra at the end because she undoubtedly used them to her advantage to make Trouble laugh.
