An American Workers' United Concept
from /r/vexillology Top comment: I've become very interested in workers' parties/movements lately, and I discovered that the flag designs were dominated by references to disgraced or tainted ideological symbology (though I can't say I've seen them all). My objective was to try to design one for the USA in 2020, where uniting all workers presents a bit of a unique challenge. I decided I had to avoid any of the obvious socialist/communist symbology, as those terms and icons (let alone the concepts) have been thoroughly poisoned among certain groups in the states. Obviously, that takes quite a lot of good icons/symbols representing "work"/"workers" off the table. I landed on the idea of two hands/arms clasped in solidarity, stylized after the iconic "socialist fist," which I felt had the right dynamism to it. The rest of the symbolism is fairly simple, or even weak. I chose vertical stripes to convey standing together, side by side. The stars and colors are based on the US flag, meant to convey democratic ideals, Americana, and the like. The number of stars and stripes (7 each) is of no intended significance. Open to feedback/criticism! Apologies for the unnecessary apostrophe in the title. I was thinking of "Workers' Party" but wrote "United" instead.
Fictional flag of the Workers' Party of [South] Korea had it not been purged; based on Six Arrows flag of Turkey's Republican People's Party (CHP).
from /r/vexillology Top comment: Here's a description of the flag's symbolism: 1. Hairpin: Represents the working women of Korea 2. Cane: Represents the elderly, post-retirement age workers of Korea 3. Sickle: Represents the farmers of Korea 4. Calligraphy brush: Represents the intellectuals, bureaucrats, artists, and students of Korea 5. Hammer: Represents the industrial workers of Korea 6. Spoon: Represents the service workers of Korea
Flag of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, used from 1929-1934.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: I always loved the old timy look and humbleness of this flag

It's International Workers' Day, here's a red flag
from /r/vexillology Top comment: This is basically the flag of Morocco under Alaouite dynasty (1666-1912)
Flag of Workers' Party VS Flag of Liberal Democratic Party of North Korea
from /r/vexillology Top comment: Flag of the fictional Liberal Democratic Party of North Korea in the style of the DPRK Workers' Party. Instead of a hammer, a sickle and a brush, a torch and an eagle.
