Unaware of where I'm going
Or if I'm going anywhere at all
But I know I'll take the leap
If it is worth the fall
So long as the blood keeps flowing
I'll set a sail and swim across
I'm not looking to be found
Just want to feel (un)lost

summary: Blaine meets Kurt at a Pride parade, and gets a whole lot more than he bargained for.
Why is that every song by the Maine makes me cry. "everything is temporary / even the sorrow that you carry" "good thing i don't exist for you at all anymore" "you don't want to die tonight/take one more breath to clear your mind" "i'm not looking to be found/just want to feel unlost" "it's only just the end of the world / not the end of it you know" "you don't have to hide yourself, pretender, pretender" "is the sadness everlasting? love i think it is" LISTEN WHAT THE FUCK HOW DO YOU HOLD THIS POWER OVER ME
I just got around to reading the third chap of unlost and it's been really good so far. I just love how you're giving so many layers to puck ( his character had so much potential in the show ) and am really intrigued to see where you're gonna take him. and the little snippet about sam just really made me emotional. And I'm really intrigued to see Blaine's reactions as he attends the meeting and to get to know more about his family. I can't wait for the next update
hi omg this is so sweet!! thank you so much for reading and sending me this message <3
i'm so glad everyone is liking puck's characterization! i really wanted to do something different with him, because i feel like there was so much missed potential with his character on the show and i haven't seen many fics dive into the complexity of his character.
as for sam, me too tbh. i love him so much and i'm so excited for his character to come alive in this story.
blaine's journey.....will definitely be interesting. if he ends up at the workshop, he may be (pleasantly) surprised, but some other factors are definitely going to come into play. (regarding his family, who you will for sure meet in the next chapter!)

i usually post fic previews (mostly when it’s taking me too long to finish the chapter oops) so here’s a bit of the second chapter!
“We’re holding the next one this Saturday, at 3,” Kurt says quietly. “I can text you the address of the center, if you want to drop by?”
“Y-yeah,” Blaine stammers. “Maybe.”
Kurt asks for his number. Blaine rattles it off, heart racing.
This was just supposed to be one lunch.
One thing, just to appease Kurt, and then he would go back home and Kurt would forget about him and he could go back to everything the way it was. Forget he’d even gone to the parade, stuff it all into a little box and shove it away for never. Don the suits and paste on the smiles, forget every feeling he had about it. Conceal any chance he had of creating something for himself that didn’t coalesce with the life that had been laid out for him.
It would be hard. It would feel like a part of him was being ripped away, like he was pressing a lid over one of the flames in his chest, putting it out for good. But he’s known for months that he was running on borrowed time. His years in school, and then the past few months of hibernation to ensure he passed the bar. That was all he had left. He knew this part of himself had an expiration date, a point in time when he had to let go of the thoughts and the dreams and the idealization of something that was always going to be too good to be his.
