To be fair this was an unexpected visit. So you couldn't blame Jo freezing on the spot when he saw his big sister standing just beside the main entrance to their dorm. He hastily went over a mental list. There were no texts, no calls, no letters, it had only been about three days since they last spoke. What was this about?
She checked her phone and started to close in on him.
He scrambled to make it seem like he hadn't been having a momentary panic attack and moved just out of sight. Grabbing a handful of fabric that was just left loose he hoped to look busy as she stepped through the entrance.
Their eyes met as she turned her head and they both paused.
"Oh, hello professor. Not often we see you out here. What brings you by?" He prayed it didn't sound hopeful or rehearsed to her ears.
Raising a brow at him she let a smirk flicker on her face before composing herself. "Not here for you Kongoza. Where's Susuhara?"
If being called by his family name still stung just a bit he tried not to let it show. God he hoped it didn't show... "Oh with his busy schedule there's no telling. Probably the workshop he's been fixing up since we got out though."
"He should be expecting me. I try not to spring anything on him and make appointments like a normal person."
Jo paused at that, thinking back to their previous year he recalled Mio having had appointments with her before. He even remembered an embarrassing moment where Elias asked the then first year if he was getting extra credit the fun way. To which everyone else was appalled or flustered by.
"Well if he's expecting you then you'll want to head back around the outer ring of this tent here," He pointed further in. "Mio's workshop is down the stairs that way."
She nodded, "Ah. The underground one." Taking a few steps she stopped and glanced back. "If you aren't busy you're free to tag along... Up to you though."
"Really?" He tried to keep the excitement from his voice as he carefully sat the fabrics back down.
Koyuu smirked again, "Hmm. Suppose you weren't busy if that was the reaction I got." She started off down the way he had pointed her.
Taken aback by the way she called him out on it he stammered before quickly following, "I wasn't doing nothing if that's what you're thinking!"
"Sure you weren't." The tone she had as she clearly teased him reminded him of their little sister.
Other than that it was a quiet walk down to the workshop. Koyuu knocked a fist against the doorframe at the bottom of the steps, "Susuhara. I'm here."
Mio turned in his spinning chair and pushed his goggles up, "Hello Sensei. You're on time as usual, just a tune up today right?" His eyes widened slightly as he saw Jo, "Oh... Hey?" He glanced at their teacher, concern and confusion in the asking look.
"It's fine Susuhara, I invited him." She walked by him and found a place to hang her jacket.
Jo waved at his vice captain, "Yeah. I'm just sitting in to see what this is all about. I knew you had appointments but I was curious. And you're not one to tell people."
Mio hummed, "I mean... It's fairly personal stuff. It would be rude to just go around telling everyone about it."
As the blond looked back he flustered, "Wh-why are you taking off your shirt?!"
The woman paused halfway into removing the long sleeved shirt, "...I always do this?" Continuing she lifted it over her head, leaving her in a black tank top and her red gloves. But what caught Jo's eye was the strap around her upper left arm that went down into the glove.
She found a seat and dropped into it, propping her arm on the table. "Ready when you are."
Mio nodded and scooted the stool over to her, making quick work of the leather glove. It revealed a black metal hand underneath, that Jo realized was a solid piece up until the mid forearm. It was held tightly with a few straps that Mio was carefully undoing. And as the straps loosened the prosthetic went limp and dropped into his waiting hands.
The captain was speechless, he took in the sight as Koyuu removed the leather strap system from her arm and rubbed the marks on her skin from them.
"You've been rough with it lately haven't you?" Mio sighed as he slowly took it apart with his tools, moving clips and screws into a small container and setting pieces aside.
She shrugged and let her arm rest on the table top, the place where it would usually be covered or scabbed over was instead a very clean near perfect cut. The stump having a thin gel like film that allowed you to view the end of the bone and muscle and ligaments like a slice of an anatomy doll. "It's been a while since you were available."
He sighed, obviously not as concerned as Jo by the sight. "That's why I would have hoped you'd be gentler with it. You're almost as bad as Haru."
"I take offense to that. I'm not a workaholic like Sagara." She brought the stump to her line of sight and hummed, "I'll need to stop by Mortkranken and have Isami reapply this gel layer."
Mio glanced at it and quickly looked away, "Yeah. It seems like it's reached the end of its lifetime."
Jo finally found his voice, albeit strained, "What... What the hell?"
Koyuu looked over at him and smiled fondly, "Surprise?"
"No, no surprise! What... What happened? That's... It's so cleanly cut... Why isn't it healed over?" His head reeled as he kept staring at the cross section.
"The anomaly that did it." She sighed, "Pretty rare creature, it wrecks anything it closes a barrier around like this. Once you see one manifest around something you can kiss whatever is inside it goodbye. Kekkai Cube... They could have named it a little better. Something that sounds as dangerous as it is." She touched her still gloved fingers to the gel film on the stump, "Good thing is it doesn't hurt. Bad thing is that you can still see everything."
Jo scoffed, "Yeah. I can see that..."
She gave a tiny smirk again and flexed the forearm, holding it out for him to see that the muscles moved visibly in the cross section of her arm.
He gagged and turned his head, "That's horrifying!"
Koyuu chuckled and put her elbow back to the table. "Eh. I got used to it. It's been a while."
Mio groaned, "These artificial ligaments are close to tearing. What were you doing?"
"Grading papers, teaching, reading, the usual."
"Trying to paint again?" He sounded like he was chastising the woman.
She frowned, "No... It doesn't look right anymore."
Jo watched the interaction closely, "Painting?"
Her eyes met his and she inhaled softly, "I used to paint before I lost this hand. It was always my dominant hand and did the best job for it. Now when I try... I just don't have the same talent for it."
Nodding slowly he continued, "You used to have these appointments pretty regularly."
Mio chimed in, "That's because she's always pushing it to the limit. Writing nonstop, reading nonstop, slamming her desk with it..." He cut his eyes at his teacher, "Don't think I forgot the time I watched you crack the outer shell in real time in your class one day."
She sighed, "You never let me live it down. I also cracked the desk so I think your alloy should be proud of the damage it did."
"The alloy I used to use for you is out of the question now. You need something sturdier but still lightweight. I have some upgrades in mind if you don't mind waiting. I can try to find an older version in my scrap for you to use in the meantime."
She sighed, "I'd prefer not to leave without a functioning arm. So if my presence isn't a bother I can just stick around. I'll even hold stuff for you, a moving tray for your tiny bits and pieces."
He laughed, "I could make one of those if I really needed it. But I appreciate the offer."
Jo came closer and stared at the prosthetic that was now stripped down to bare bones. "So this is what the gloves are for."
"My gloves are more than just a convenient tool. They're also badass." She gave a relaxed smile, something not often seen on her.
He laughed, "Very intimidating."
Mio stood and walked around the room, gathering pieces and tools as he went. He watched them from the corner of his vision and made it back to the table, dropping the items off and repeating the process.
"You may be expecting a story from this," She nodded at the missing part of her arm. "But you won't be getting it. At least not now. It's too soon for me to give you that much."
Jo sighed, "I was hoping but I understand. It's not like we're that close..."
"I did say yet. Don't look like a kicked puppy."
"I don't!"
There was a thud as a large box was dropped onto the table. Mio used his hands to pry the lid off. "So why is Jo special? You've never brought a friend with you. Of course you don't have to answer that. It's just... certain things people say and seeing is believing and all that..."
She sighed, "Susuhara... You don't usually ask questions. And since it is your captain and one of your usual customers..." Shrugging she looked Mio in the eyes, "Same mom, different dad."
The pink haired man stopped and stared, "Huh?"
Jo gave her a shocked look.
"What? Did you not wanna tell him?" She raised a brow. "He's part of your family isn't he?"
"Well yeah... I just wasn't expecting you to just... Say it like that?"
Koyuu sighed, "It's a popular enough rumor around here because of our damn faces. At the very least I think your family here should know the truth."
Mio pulled out metal sheets and set them aside, "Okay. Siblings. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up for me." He took one of the old outer panels and started drawing equal lines into the sheet metal.
"We haven't seen each other in a long time so we're pretty estranged." She shrugged again and took a small book from her pants pocket, flipping it open to a marked page.
He hummed his affirmation as he pulled his goggles back down. "This will definitely take some time." Glancing at the fidgeting captain the corner of his lips quirked into a half smile, "I bet there's some things up top that need the ringmaster's attention."
Jo stood from the box he'd sat on and cleared his throat, "Yeah... I'll see you later right?" He focused on the woman.
"Yeah. I'll see you before I leave. Go handle your circus." She waved the book in her hand in a shooting motion. "You'll just get bored down here and distract him."
"I'm holding you to that. So don't try to back out on me." He called over his shoulder as he ascended the stairs.
"Wouldn't dream of it!"
As soon as Jo left the workshop he made a quick text, make some free time and come over, and then put his phone away. He could find a few tasks that might take an hour or so. And then he'd hopefully be able to drag her to his office and they could speak freely.
-
Elias rounded the corner and had to do a quick double take. That was Jo, yes normal enough, and that was his little sister. What was her name? Miki? Mirai? Oh Miharu! That's right. But the third person sent his brain reeling. There was no mistake, that was professor Koyuu. The one professor that never fell for his shenanigans and late work excuses.
What's this group doing together other than the obvious elephant in the room? Everyone on campus has heard or shared the rumors. They all look so alike it's a wonder people aren't asking them every day are they related. He decided maybe he'd just lean here against the wall for a moment, his legs were tired of running around after Shion. Yeah, that's it.
-
It was silent in the room, Jo leaned back in a chair, face unreadable. Miharu sitting on one couch with her legs criss crossed and picking at her pant leg. Koyuu glancing back and forth between them as she sat with her arms crossed and legs spread on the other couch, clearly waiting.
This has been going on for ten minutes already. It was ridiculous. None of them could think up what to say.
Koyuu sighed and stomped a foot down, "Do you think I'm going to bite you or something?!"
Both of the younger two jumped, Miharu flinching towards Jo.
"N-no of course not. It's just... well what do we say?" Ever the smooth talker, Jo seemed to flounder a bit now.
The eldest leaned back and relaxed her posture, "Anything. You have things to air out I'm sure."
Jo laughed nervously, "Air out? I mean should we really start with that? It's all heavy topics I'm sure..."
Miharu sat up and cleared her throat, "Why'd you always avoid us?"
She raised a brow and turned to face the girl who immediately shrank back under the harsh gaze. "...You know what happened to Yasuna right?"
"Yasuna as in your older sister?" Jo added softly.
"Yeah... the one you look like when you use your stigma."
He stared wide eyed, "I do?"
"Yeah, same hair, same smile, same bright personality. If she hadn't died I think you two would have looked like twins."
"Died? What happened?" The youngest interjected, "If... If you don't mind sharing."
Koyuu looked up at the ceiling and the bright colors, "...She was just being a good big sister and it got her killed."
They waited for more but as the silence dragged on Jo gently nudged her with his words, "We're adults you know? We're at this academy, we know what kind of things happen. You don't have to shield us from the past."
She huffed, "Okuri inu. You ever seen one outside of your textbooks?"
Miharu frowned, "The ones that follow travellers through the woods at night? That's a yokai I think."
Jo nodded, "Yeah, they devour you if you trip and fall but as long as you keep walking you're fine and it stays the same distance away because it only takes the same amount of steps you do. Correct?"
She nodded, "I was dumb. I thought it was just an injured dog. It was injured though, and hungry. I was... Eight? Maybe a little younger. I can't really remember. But I found it in the woods outside our house, the one I lived at with Grandma and Dad before they passed. I started bringing it food, it was so skinny you could see it's ribs. And it walked with a bad limp. I think maybe it stepped in a hunting trap."
The other two shared a glance.
"I kept doing this for a week, and then one night Yasuna followed me. She was worried about me. And I introduced her to my friend. It liked me well enough, I tripped plenty of times and it never bit me. I guess now that I'm older and know more about them that it makes sense. Injured Okuri inu are taken care of by members of their families. If you bring one food and water and try to help it it starts to view you as its own. Which is why it was so dangerous for Yasuna to be near it." Her eyes were unfocused as she stared into space.
"I think I see what happened..." Jo frowned, "You don't have to continue if you don't want to..."
She inhaled shakily, "Let me. It's been a long time since I've told this to anyone."
Miharu clutched a pillow from the couch and watched her closely.
"One night we were playing, we did this often around it. It knew her by now but I was still the one feeding it. And I didn't realize it was getting better so quickly. She was grabbing at my shirt and pulling me around because we were playing tag, and I kept trying to cheat my way out of being it." She went quiet for a moment and closed her eyes. "I screamed like all kids do when they play, that scream like they're dying for no reason. And then... I heard Yasuna scream but it was cut short. By a loud, wet crunch..."
Jo covered his mouth.
"It had mistaken her as a threat to me. To someone it viewed as family. When I turned around it was pushing her body away, her head had a huge chunk taken out of it..." Koyuu swallowed carefully, "And then like it hadn't done anything wrong... Because in its mind it didn't, it curled up around me and tried to make me sleep. I passed out. And when I came to in the morning adults were crying and screaming and I never saw that anomaly again. All I could see in my head when I pictured her for years was the open chunk of her skull. The blood and the brains and the exposed bone... Her pretty hair soaked in blood..."
Before the silence could fall again Jo stood up, changing halfway in her walk towards Koyuu. She stood before her big sister, "So she looked like this?"
Koyuu focused again and tried to calm herself. "Yeah... Exactly what I picture when I think of what she'd look like at your age."
Jo leaned in and fell over her in a tight hug. "I'm sorry if this is awkward. But you seem like you need this."
She choked on air, "Jo..." Slowly her hands lifted up and wrapped around the girl in a very stilted motion. One moved higher and the fingers of that hand brushed through her hair. Koyuu took in a shuddering breath.
"She wouldn't have blamed you. I'm sure she wouldn't have." Jo spoke softly into the crook of her neck.
Miharu sat off to the side watching them, hugging the pillow tighter. "...Did mom blame you?"
Jo slowly pulled away and sat pressed against Koyuu's side, keeping one of her hands in her own.
"Yeah... Just like she did with dad. Just like she did with Grandma."
The youngest frowned, "What happened there?"
"It was your grandma's funeral where they took you away I think?" The sister holding her hand added on.
She nodded, "Grandma was getting old. She died naturally. There were no anomalies involved. But Dad... He's the reason I have this ability."
"What do you mean?" Miharu leaned in, curling forward on the couch.
"Grandma told me this story after it happened. That in our family every so often someone is gifted the ability to see and interact with spirits and creatures beyond normal human understanding. That's how it was for my dad. He had his fair share of issues too apparently. But still... if I hadn't been out in that storm he wouldn't have died..."
Jo gripped her hand, "Hey. We don't have to keep doing this. You've already told us a lot."
Miharu nodded, "You... You've really had it hard."
"I'm fine. If I don't start here you won't have all the details later."
Her hand was squeezed again, "You can stop at any time."
"I appreciate that. But it's bad enough you guys barely know me. If you want to get to know me this is important to hear."
Miharu nodded, "I do want to know you... So I'm ready. Tell us."
"Not much to say about this. I was much younger so the details are fuzzy. It was a big storm, a monsoon I think. I had left a toy at the gate. We had one of those big old houses where they had the tall stone fences. Very traditional. But so far away from the main house. I don't even remember what it was that was so important to me. When I went to grab it there was some anomaly there. I still can't pin point it because it's one of those that hides it's true shape in water and mud. It had the toy I was after in its mouth. So I stupidly followed it."
Jo bit her lip and looked over at their little sister.
She returned the concerned glance.
Koyuu stared up again, "I would have been dead if Dad hadn't seen me and ran after me. It took me down to the river, and went in with the toy. I was trying to grab it and waded in when Dad got there and pulled me out. He was soaked to the bone by the rain and looked terrified. I remember once he got me in his arms he smiled bright and warm. He wasn't paying attention to the anomaly that got pissed off by having its lunch taken away. And it slashed him, I felt the impact. It's claws were razor sharp. He managed to walk us most of the way back and all I remember of that walk was that it lasted so long and there was a trail of blood behind him. He collapsed at the gate, and even then managed to put me down before he went limp. My Grandma was the first one to see him. Apparently I was shaking him, trying to get him inside. The slashes were so deep they went through several internal organs. He made it all that way just so I'd be safe..."
Jo held her arm tight, "I never knew about your dad."
Miharu inhaled sharply, "What the fuck... Now I'm pissed."
Koyuu looked over at her, "What?"
"That bitch always said her first husband was lucky he was pretty and rich because he didn't have much else. She never said anything good about him. You're saying he was an incredible dad... I fucking wish our dad was that attentive! Showed us that he cared at all! Fuck... why don't I ever hear about assholes dying to anomalies? It's always the good people."
She laughed but there was no humor to it, "He was great. He loved us a lot. Me, Yasuna, and Nariko. None of us were really attached to that woman, we were Dad and Grandma's kids. If it had just been those two we probably would have been better off. Well... I say that but Nariko was the oldest. And that meant she was that woman's pride and joy. So when Dad died she became distant from us. And then Yasuna... She stopped talking to me. She'd leave the room if I entered it. She couldn't even handle talking to Grandma most days. And then one day Nariko just left. She was maybe sixteen? But just took her stuff, her papers, some money and disappeared. The note she left said she couldn't handle the pressure and the freaky things that happened around there anymore. I don't know where she went or what she's doing now. Or if she's still alive."
Jo curled into her side, "I'm so sorry. You keep getting left behind. The type of survivor's guilt you have is insane..."
Koyuu shrugged, "The institute helped me deal with those feelings."
Miharu's lip curled in disgust, "Yeah. Bet they did. Bet they just told you to shove it all away and worry about it later like they tried to do to Jo."
She snorted, "Good to know they haven't changed their ways."
"Mi... There's no need to get nasty."
"Can't help it. They piss me off." Leaning back she held the pillow to her chest.
"Join the club." Koyuu sat up, Jo following suit as she did. "When she remarried... It wasn't long after Dad died. The three of us still lived with Grandma. Then Yasuna died about the time Miharu was born. Nariko disappeared when she was turning three I think? And then Grandma passed away a year or so later. And that's when the bitch had me taken in by the institute."
"Fuck..." Miharu hissed the word, "What the hell..."
"I think when I first met Jo I almost cried. He was so tiny and I was so excited to be a big sister but I wasn't allowed to hold him. If I tried to she would slap my hand, tell me I'm not to get near him. She couldn't handle it if my bad luck took her first son away."
Jo gave her a sad look, "How badly did she hurt you? When we were growing up there were rumors..."
"Not bad enough if you ask her. I think the worst was shoving me into the wall? She almost broke my nose doing that. She liked to slap me or hit my arm or hand. Well then again she did try to push me down the stairs... But she was pregnant at the time and couldn't risk getting too close herself. Guess she thought I'd pull her too if I went down."
Miharu stared in shock, "You're so nonchalant about her abusing you."
The professor shrugged, "Nothing I can do about it now. Crazy bitch had no interest in letting me live a peaceful life because apparently I ruined hers."
Jo leaned in again, "I think maybe we should take a break."
"I'm good to keep going. We're actually getting to the good part."
"The good part, geez next you're gonna tell us she tried to stab you." The youngest sighed.
Koyuu laughed, "She definitely thought about it. But back to what I was saying, I was heartbroken to not be allowed to be a big sister. I wanted to prove that I could be as good as Yasuna. But when she died I fell into depression. I started to believe it was my fault. That it was better to keep away. Especially with how Nariko started to pull away from me. The only person who would get close and care for me was Grandma. She saw a lot of Dad in me. A sensitive soul with a lot of passion she said. You know who didn't see it that way. And eventually Jo was growing faster than I could keep up with. He wanted to play with me and would chase me everywhere. I had to limit our interactions. It was rare but if no one was around and you found me I'd pat you on the head and answer whatever question you had or toss a ball back to you."
Jo bit her lip, "Do you remember the night I had a nightmare?"
She turned her head and smiled, "I'm guessing you do? I was so worried someone saw you but I knew you needed comfort. You cuddled up to me so fast I didn't even get to finish the story. The little lion plushie you had was so itchy on my arm but I wasn't gonna kick out your little buddy."
Her eyes watered a bit, "I was so sure you didn't remember... Or that it wasn't important to you."
Koyuu tugged her into a hug, "Please don't ever think I don't care about you. I tried to avoid you guys for your own good. Not because I didn't like you or something."
Jo's stigma reversed and he held her tight, "I'm sorry. I used to think that... It used to keep me up at night. Thinking that you recognized me and just didn't care enough to say anything..."
"Shhh. Don't cry now." She rubbed his back slowly, "You're alright."
Miharu stood up and walked over, plopping down on his other side and leaning on his back. "Come on. You heard her. She does care..."
Koyuu glanced over his shoulder at her, "I'm guessing you thought the same?"
"Yeah..."
"When you were little my Grandma said you looked just like me when I was a baby. She joked about stealing you sometimes. I didn't want to have anything happen to you so I pretended I wasn't interested. But I was, I wanted to hold you and Jo and keep you safe. But I knew it was safer if I didn't. You were kinda wild though. You started walking earlier than Jo, and a lot faster. I had to run sometimes to get away from you." The smile on her face was so rare it looked foreign.
"...What else do you remember about me?" Miharu inched closer, her face pressed into Jo's shoulder.
"Let's see... Nariko left... You were really rambunctious. Around three at that time. Able to run and jump and get into all kinds of trouble. I used to watch those maids chase you for hours. They got a workout trying to wrangle you. And Jo would follow you sometimes, try to hide you whenever you got into trouble. I wish I had seen more of you two growing up. But at that point I had gotten so bad in my own head that I would just stay in my room all day. It was obvious to Grandma that there were problems and they'd be worse when I would come back from staying with you guys. Mostly cause the bitch would hit me or blame me for something before sending me back. Used to tell me I was a curse, that my existence was a mistake, that she wished I'd never been born. You know, healthy things to tell a child you gave birth to when they're struggling with mental issues."
Miharu's arms passed under Jo's and she squeezed them both, "I'm sorry. She's such a stupid bitch for ever saying that to you."
Jo made a choked noise as he huffed, "You're crushing me..."
"You're a ghoul, you can handle it!" She pouted and headbutted his shoulder.
"Ow! Mi! Stop it!" He struggled a bit.
Koyuu burst out laughing, a genuine full belly laugh. And it gave them both pause, seeing her in a way they'd never known. She ruffled both of their hair and leaned back to give Jo space. "You two haven't changed. It's adorable honestly."
He frowned, "This menace is adorable? How?"
"Hey! I'm cute as hell! You're so lucky you have a cute little sister!" She poked his ribs, jabbing at the end of each sentence.
Watching them fondly she chuckled.
"Pretty sure I'm the cute one here. But you're welcome to ask around and see who agrees."
"Ughhh if I ask here they're all gonna say you! Let's ask the guys at Vagastrom! They'll see the truth!"
"You're both cute, now shut up and separate." Koyuu grabbed Jo by the collar and pulled him to her other side on the couch.
He made a surprised noise, "I could have moved myself!"
"Yes, but you didn't." The eldest patted his head, "So did we want to stop here? I can always tell you about the time I spent at the institute another night."
Miharu nodded and slowly slid closer to her, tucking her head into the warmth of the leather jacket. "I think that's a good idea. There's only so many people I can wanna punch at one time..."
Jo did the same, "There's definitely some things I want to say to our mother the next time I see her... I'm also stealing those photo albums."
Koyuu's head whipped around, "You found the albums?!"
"Uh yes? They were in an old shed on our property. It wasn't very well protected but they survived somehow. I hid them in my room. There were three of them, each one focused on each of our big sisters."
She relaxed into the couch, "I was so sure they were gone... Thank fuck you found them. I didn't have any pictures coming here... All of those photos of Nariko and Yasuna would have been lost..."
"Don't forget yourself." Miharu added softly.
Jo hummed, "Can I ask one thing?"
"Go ahead."
"Why are you going by a completely different name now?"
Koyuu frowned, "...I don't consider myself the same person anymore. And all the teachers here have fake names anyway. So it works out. You guys should just call me Koyuu. There's only a handful of people that even know my given name at this point."
The youngest peaked around at her brother, "I know their family name was Juukurogi. What was her name?"
Jo smiled and met her eyes, whispering it under his breath.
She looked up, "...Huh. I think it's pretty."
"It is isn't it?"
Koyuu sighed, "Quit conspiring I'm right here and I can hear you." She put a hand on each head and ruffled them harshly.
"Ow! Hey, I'm not a ghoul, be gentle!"
"Oh trust me she is!" Jo whined, "Koyuu! Please! Mercy!"
-
Jo had finally left the room, having offered to get drinks for the other two. And as he turned the corner something crunched under his foot. Crouching to see what it was he picked up a tiny shard of transparent green hard candy. He frowned, "...Elias." There were going to be words had with the fourth year...

Hehehe~ I can't lie I am enjoying this even though it's technically an AU. (Everything is canon other than Koyuu being related to Jo and Miharu)
I feel like it's easier for her to open up to them as siblings so I can actually get her back story written down and solidified before I make it even more fucked up in my head. I have a track record of making back stories too tragic lol.
There's gonna be another part so don't worry~
