with a grimace and a resigned sort of sigh, eimhin set another book back into its place after barely glancing at the cover. too many books, too many options, too much stress. he’d never had so many choices, not with the dalish and especially not in the circle.

    “ no, better question. how do you pick? what if it’s not the right one?        what if you waste  all  your  time on  one  book, just to  find  out it’s        fuckin’ terrible? what  if  you’re not s’posed to  even  read it in the        first place---? ”

he faltered, grip tightening around the spine of the next book.
