I think my absolute favourite thing about Rings of Power is Sauron method-acting like his life depends on it which... it doesn’t in all honesty, even if he was stabbed to death he would just retreat and take a while to form a new body. But still, it would set him back so he just absolutely throws himself into the role of ‘hot but stubborn potential heir to the Southlands with a handy aptitude for smithing’.
And it works.
