Hitting a little bit too close home
#super short story time: I had to give my case advance to professional that was going to take over because a certain project#I knew this was going to happen from the beginning since that was part of it but what I didn't know was#that the person I was going to be handing it over past the initial testing and anamnesis was one of the Top Minds in the country in my field#so I am heading over there with my files and shit and I am told ''oh hey Ric they are waiting for you at 307''#''cool thanks''#''yeah [name] arrived like two minutes ago''#''WHO''#''[name]''#''WHY''#''that's who you are going to be briefing''#''WHAT''#so I psyched myself the fuck up drank some Canada Dry and went in like I wasn't some piss ass 24 year old NOOB#suit looking tight charisma drives at full potency#go in and act the most professional I can give the briefing and act like a Seasoned Dude(tm)#he thanks me for the briefing we shake hands and I exit the room#and I go get a beer because damn I didn't need that sudden pressure in my life out of nowhere no one told me [name] was coming and I had to#brIEF THEM and tell them like what to do (suggested actions) and all#that's like the turtle telling the shark how to swim and hunt#anyways I love Maria
