“Give me attention.”
“Wheein...please...give me like two seconds...”
Panting, Jimin was filling order after order. It was a Saturday afternoon, the time when everyone was out and about and stopped into stores at their whims. As a new shop, Mukashi-Kara was getting extra special attention on its first Saturday open to the public. Person after person, group after group came into the shop, making noise, buying things. There was a lot happening. Especially a lot of sound. It was hard on Jimin’s sensitive ears.
Yet between his brother and himself, the two managed the crowd and made sale upon sale. Eiji would be ecstatic about the profits, Jimin was certain of that much. Jimin himself was just happy to see so many happy faces filling his shop and leaving it, satisfied. It was several long minutes, 15, before the rush suddenly died down to the usual trickle, with just a handful of people remaining in the shop.
Finally, Jimin turned with a happy but exhausted smile to Wheein. His favorite customer.
“Yes, how may I help you today Wheein?”
