We're in such a dire need of an organised revolutionary international. Don't get me wrong, not the way Stalin-era Trotskyists understood it as if exporting a morally idealistic ethos dispossessed of a proper intent to address the immanent conditions pressing on the working classes across different and differing national and regional articulations in their specificity, but as a movement that lends solidarity through concrete means to carry out revolution according to those national and regional specificities, sort of like Cuba what (and thus, the Soviet Union indirectly) did in Namibia and Angola.
I don't think I'm THE one to devise and state how it should take place, my own understanding is probably flawed in respects. But, fucking hell, this lot of milktoast social democrats posing as anti-imperialists, when the most they do is just leveraging along bourgeois parties' participation in labour liberal governing boards and GDP percentages with entrepreneurs who could single-handedly fund coups to oust them without breaking much sweat, is all truly a thing of despair.
There's quite a wee to learn from the Chinese and Vietnamese developmentalist experiences. But "combating" capitalism by dominating commodity markets to such a normalising extent, thus (in countries not governed by Communist parties) replacing the process of acquiring class consciousness and developing revolutionary praxis with the process of sublimating and normalising the alienation of labour force through what Walter Benjamin aptly summarised as "Fascism attempts to organize the newly created proletarian masses without affecting the property structure which the masses strive to eliminate. Fascism sees its salvation in giving these masses not their right, but instead a chance to express themselves. The masses have a right to change property relations; Fascism seeks to give them an expression while preserving property" just won't do without sharing almost exactly the same structural and intersubjectively immanent conditions that have led to such developmental trajectory. Which is impossible, much like it's impossible for those countries to have reproduced the exact same processes that took place following the Russian Civil War, the Korean War, the Liberation of Yugoslavia, and the Cuban Revolution.
