That being said, another Sanders Sides headcanon!
I have no idea how supported by canon this is. My guess is probably not a lot, but:

Back before Thomas started making the videos, I think that the light sides (Hadrian included) and the dark sides (Cecil included) would regularly do battle over Thomas’s decisions
Example: Janus coming up with a scheme to get Thomas to sleep in for once. The solution? Keep him from going to sleep at a reasonable time!
So you’d have Cecil (Orange Side, Ignorance/Hope, you know the drill) trying to convince Thomas that he can watch more Parks And Recreation and circadian rhythm is fake
Virgil going over Everything Thomas Should Be Worrying About: Past, Present, and Future edition in a PowerPoint
And just when Thomas thinks he’s calm and asleep, Remus saunters into the room to be a sleep paralysis demon, starting by conjuring a jukebox and putting on 21 plays of What’s New Pussycat with one It’s Not Unusual in the middle
Finally, when the morning rolls around and Thomas continues to be tired, Janus steps in and suggests that he make an excuse to wherever he had to be that morning so he can sleep in
At least, that’s the plan, but the light sides keep showing up and ruining it
(By the light sides, I mean Logan, one of the only competent fighters among their ranks)
