I know how it seems when I always sing to myself in public
I babble on like a mad man
I know how it seems when I'm always staring off into nothing
I'm sorry I don't laugh at the right times

Solomon’s roads were still bleak and grey, the world had darkness but even under his raven hat and cloak he could see rays of light. Purity even but he knew no one in this world was truly divine, humans were born in sin and all they could do was to try and lead a righteous and good life. Small acts of kindness and love was more than wealth and power, if someone knew that it was Solomon.
Born in wealth he saw the corruption of it in his older brother who was to inherit it all whilst he was being pushed into a pious and righteous life. He thought he’d killed his brother by accident and guilt led him into darkness and greed until he was led on a path of redemption to save his soul among a few others. After his soul was saved he promised to fight for the world, the goodness of people in it, and of all corruption his hatred was the strongest against dark and evil sorcery, the very kind that had stained his family.
A lot of his travels was lonely and he had to rely on the goodness of people on occasion even though his duty was to God, not his own gain. A coin took one further than words in the physical world.
Staying at an inn in a small town Solomon was hired by worried locals, claiming someone was practicing dark magic and they were afraid they would be targeted. Foreign symbols, weird language, they were confused and scared so Solomon took the task to make sure his past experiences wouldn’t happen elsewhere, and it was better done alone instead of a mob with torches and pitchforks.
He followed the route given by the good people to a more secluded place, one fit for someone suspicious. Pretending to be a weary traveler Solomon approached the house that allegedly held a witch inside, knocking the door heavily instead of barging in.
“Could a weary traveler ask for shelter?”
Thinking about the time Solomon said the phrase "penis agnostic" and. I'm extracting him violently from the system. -j

The road had been long even on a horse and they days had been darker than usual, almost like the sun could not reach the earth. The light wind was cold and Solomon’s horse was in need of rest, therefore it was the best moment to stop. Solomon walked with his horse a few feet toward a fire not too far from the road, a house on the very far edge of a village, and some around the small fire outside.
“Pardon me, could I request a cup of warm to drink? I have coin in exchange.”
