When you reap what they sow

Expect the unexpected. It was a good motto to live by, but not even the devil himself could have expected a day like today. It’d all happened by chance, stumbling upon the gamer in the first place was only because his eyes were in the right place at the right time as he passed by the youtube videos playing on electronic displays. Once something had caught Lucifer’s attention  and managed to keep it, the fallen angel wasn’t easily dissuaded. Finding the guy was the hard part, but when one has millions of demons at the tip of a finger even seemingly impossible tasks became easy. Once the location was found out Lucifer wasted no time in teleporting to the other’s doorstep and knocked. The instant the door opened the angel was already speaking in an amused tone. 

“I hear you’re good at games. Or, good at completing games that never meant to  be completed in the first place at least. That’s really what I find curious. I have a proposition for you. I made the hardest level on a game ever created. Play it. If you can’t do it and give up, I’ll just accept the disappointment and be on my way. However if you beat it- no limitations be it monetary or of reality, anything you wish will be yours. No strings attached. No tricks, no sneaky nonsense either, you have my word. Oh, silly me I didn’t even give you my name. Very nice to meet you, I’m sure you’ve heard of a few of my titles before but please just call me Lucifer.” 

                       Saebyeok is a little startled by his door suddenly opening with a rather strong force in the middle of his door way. Letting out a heavy sigh he tries to steady his heartbeat after the slight fright he was given. 

“If you’re looking for one of your demons, you just missed him. Perhaps it’s a growing up in Hell thing to barge in without knocking.” 

The Witch comments as he remembers his friend opening the door and walking in as if it was his own home. Sighing a little bit he gestures to his table so that the other could make themselves comfortable. Though he believes they would have done so even without the gesture. 

“Your demon happened to eat all my strawberries, but if you’re hungry I’m sure I can find something else to your liking. As long as it’s not meat.”

He offers before setting a kettle on the stove to make some tea. Saebyeok was no stranger to who the other was. Some Witches worshiped or made deals with Satan, where Saebyeok did not. He was practicing light magic, he worshiped the Goddess Hecate.
