And none of my fellow players follow this blog so it's safe to post here heheh.

One of my friends wants to DM a Curse of Strahd campaign. It's her favorite module and we've all been meaning to do it. She finally has the bug for it and we start this Thursday.

For the LONGEST time I had this silly little idea for Lucifer as a paladin. Now obviously him being the devil would be tricky in the world of DnD so that's been scrapped, but he does have celestial roots and he still gets his family.

In this, to be sneaky because I wanna surprise my fellow players, I decided to name him Samael Dawnstar (hahah.) He's an Aasimar with a faded halo above his head as his little nod that he's born from a God. He was raised in a religious temple and went through many holy teachings until he was in his early 20s and he met a woman named Lilly. He left the temple and abandoned his teachings to adventure with her and eventually settled down to make a family. They had a beautiful daughter named Lottie. (See where I'm going with this??)

One day, seemingly out of nowhere, Lilly and Lottie were dragged into the Hells of Avernus (the Hell in DnD world) and now Samael is determined to save them. The God(s) offer him aid if he simply follows their word and does as he's told he will be able to pull his family from Avernus.

So how does he end up in Barovia fighting the wonderful vampire named Strahd??

Well, it's part of the path the God(s) have led him on. So he's on this path, not really sure where it will take him, but he's got the determination to do it if only to see his family again.

What could go wrong????

Well, he's going to have an eventual realization that the God(s) are lying to him and he's going to become an Oathbreaker paladin >:D

His build is basically that he'll use splint armor (wooden based armor instead of heavy plate mail and such) and he uses a Glaive. Why? BECAUSE LUCIFER USES A GLAIVE.

This thing here? Absolutely a glaive and I have already played the traditional paladin with a sword and shield, I wanted him to be different. I am SO excited to go on this journey with this man. I even got some art commissioned from WeirdyStar to go along with it.

And to add to the feelings, Sam carries around a toy duck that was his daughters. Ahhhhh ok, here is the art below. I have so much more I could gush about but I'll zip it.

;; I often get inspiration from music I listen to, I really like to make playlists for all of my muses and that definitely inspires things. Fanart is also a form of inspiration. Sometimes I'll be inspired by something I watch that gives me a trope I want to play around with too.

Unusual Mun Questions

That is a tough one to answer because I love all sorts of different writing items, but I have to say I do like dark plots. I am a huge angst lover, the grittier the better in my opinion. Anything that can bring out those deeper emotions, like anger, frustration, sadness, guilt, etc (all from the muse of course, we're not out here hurting muns!!).

Deep plots with dark elements just appeal to me the most. It can be a serial killer love interest plot and that's fun and engaging to me because there are so many different angles you can take with it. I like the emotion it brings and the suspense. The lack of knowing what might happen next in dark plots is just so good! And it's even better if we have a loose plan but also are able to have our own creative freedoms so we can surprise each other as roleplayers.

;; I have been roleplaying basically since I had access to the internet. I don't have an exact age so we'll say around 10yrs old (I know, child on the internet, do as I say not as I do x'D). I am now 34 yrs old so let's see...that's 24yrs approximately? (Scary)

It started out with whatever I could find at the time. I didn't really have any IRL friends I could rp with at the time, so I found forums and such to start out with. MSN Forums was a big one back then. It was originally just a place I could escape reality at the time and be creative. I was a very creative kid and would makeup stories with my toys growing up, RP became a form of that and it let me write out my ideas to be more coherent, and honestly I think it improved my writing skill. I wrote in a variety of fandoms (//.hackSIGN, Final Fantasy X, InuYasha, Naruto, Bleach...). Mostly anime because I was (and still am) a bit nerd.

I kinda just bounced from forum place to forum place finding people to RP with. I think I eventually came to tumblr in 2012 after a friend recommended it to me and I started off in the Legend of Zelda fandom (I just played Skyward Sword at the time and it was a big interest). Moved from the Rise of the Guardians fandom to The Hobbit/LOTR, to Marvel, to Borderlands, to Detroit: Become Human, to the fandom that shall not be named. Eventually I got tired of having single blogs and just made multi-fandom multi-muse blogs that fit what I wanted to write better.

I still use RP as a way to kind of escape reality. It's a form of relaxation and for fun. :3

Greatest hope for 2026: I hope that my Pericarditis doesn't return and that I can return to a relatively normal life. I miss doing things I used to enjoy like gardening. Please let me garden this summer.

My angel AU for Lucifer is something I would love to explore. I just like the concept of it a lot and would like to play with it.

Playing with human!Alastor or Vincent would also be fun and I would like to do more thread AUs with them. Doesn't have to be them together, I just want to poke people as human forms in general I guess.

Alastor selling his soul to Lucifer instead of Rosie is another one I'd like to play with.
