That is a tough one to answer because I love all sorts of different writing items, but I have to say I do like dark plots. I am a huge angst lover, the grittier the better in my opinion. Anything that can bring out those deeper emotions, like anger, frustration, sadness, guilt, etc (all from the muse of course, we're not out here hurting muns!!).
Deep plots with dark elements just appeal to me the most. It can be a serial killer love interest plot and that's fun and engaging to me because there are so many different angles you can take with it. I like the emotion it brings and the suspense. The lack of knowing what might happen next in dark plots is just so good! And it's even better if we have a loose plan but also are able to have our own creative freedoms so we can surprise each other as roleplayers.
That said, it doesn't have to be the end all be all. I do like writing other stuff. Give me a sappy romance any day. Bonus points if it's radioapple.
