it's probably nothing, especially considering the recording script note about william sas's name not being important, but combined with some other hints dropped in season 2, i wonder if there's a complete lost storyline/arc featuring all of these characters that the show never got to as it focused on other themes... similarly typhon may not take kids, but i'm now intrigued by the potential for adult nepo babies grandfathered in to aerolith's dumpiest tower...
regardless, fun to think about the psychological thriller-horror cass and friends were living through back then.
