i was honestly so surprised at how easy it was to fend off the petrification devices LMAO. for everyone's information, the Medusas are apparently a living life form. a mechanical and technological life form. they're like parasites. well they describe themselves as parasites. they're not exactly immortal either so they go around the universe searching for a species that could help them live forever in exchange of petrification. YES. that is why humanity was petrified because the Medusas overestimated humanity's ability to break out of stone and intellectual thinking. they were hoping that humans could quickly break out of stone and offer help to the Medusas. but nope, humans have too much of a carnal desire to live life to the fullest and experience it with other people. this is what the Medusas couldn't understand so they abandoned humanity and just dipped. they just gave up lol, i thought senku was gonna have a revolutionary negotiation but nah. 😭😭

also!!! okay!!! i get why senku is making a time machine now!!! not to prevent the petrification from happening (i think) but to at least prepare humanity for it?? I DUNNO. I DON'T KNOW OKAY. it has an open ending which means it's up to many interpretations SO I'M NOT SURE but that's what i understood from it. i'm just worried because will the descendants of byakuya and his fellow co-astronauts not exist anymore if ever the petrification didn't happen like?? OAHSGSUWHEIDIJFJF SENKU IS SO AMBITIOUS I STILL DON'T LIKE THE IDEA OF MAKING A TIME MACHINE but they're already so far in the progress of crafting it so i don't want me or chizuko to be a hindrance to that scientific revelation.

gosh everything looks so modern now. everyone's got suits and proper uniforms for their jobs. buildings, equipment, labs. TAIJU AND YUZURIHA GOT MARRIED TOO. legit i teared up when it ended. especially when i recognized the ending frame (which is senku smiling at the camera and saying "get excited. this is exhilarating!") because that's when i knew it has officially ended. UGGGHHHHH I'M GONNA MISS YOU DOCTOR STONE 😭😭😭😭 UAHSUSHDHDUFIG SIGHS...... BUT AT LEAST I HAVE MORE MATERIAL TO WORK WITH NOW TO DEVELOP MORE CHIZUSEN LORE.... 💔💔 senku doesn't have his tunic anymore. he's wearing a full ass lab coat and i'm so happy to see him in that bc he has finally made it back to where he was at the beginning.
