Toyota unveils $57,500 hydrogen-powered Mirai to replicate PriusĀ success
TOKYO: Toyota Motor Corp has left its counterparts behind by introducing the worldās first car that is run on hydrogen instead of gasoline.
The company will introduce this first mass-market fuel cell vehicle, hoping to replicate the success of its Prius hybrid. The four-seater sedan, named Mirai, the Japanese word for āfutureā, will first go on sale in four cities in Japan on Dec 15.
