I can't do anymore WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS intro threads. They're very very one note for me, and they get so repetitive. I run out of ideas VERY quickly. The only exception for this is if we've plotted it ooc. 🙏 otherwise, just have your AU muse approach Caine like they've been in the Circus for a while, I promise it's okay 👍
I personally dislike found family being transformed into Nuclear Family 2.0, especially with AI and robot characters, so regardless of what canon shows or popular headcanons, I don't see Kinger and Queenie as Caine's parents, but rather some of his creators. This is for my own comfort and tastes.

Over and over and over, Dillon kept his head down. He kept smiling. He kept working. Diligent Dillon, always putting in 110%!
👓 So it must have been a surprise when the police arrived at the scene: An entire floor of cubicles full of lifeless bodies, the CEO's office no exception. Inside, both the CEO and Dillon lay dead, in a puddle of blood pooling out from both of their heads. Diligent Dillon must have really, really wanted that vacation...
👓 Ending up in Hell was no surprise to him, other than to find out it was real. The other surprise that didn't last too long is that he ended up being an accountant. Again. Passed around by various overlords who needed him until they didn't. Diligent Dillon never complained, he kept his head down, he always smiled...
👓 He signed a deal with a certain radio demon who promised to give him a break from it all. No more working all the time, not unless summoned for it. Dillon took it in a heartbeat, and soon regretted everything. It seemed that when he wasn't in need of use, he didn't exist. Put away in some void of nothingness. He was nothing but a fleshy calculator.
👓 Eventually, the Radio Demon had no need for him anymore, and would pass his contract onto the Vees, anonymously. Dillon was almost screaming his gratitude to be able to work again, but within days he'd be back behind a desk. Crunching numbers. Working... working... working. Diligent Dillon never complains, always smiling.

Hebby here, bringing back my beloved Alestra, a Lady Alastor! She's pretty 1:1 with canon in terms of behavior, except she's even more unwilling to let anyone know they've gotten to her. Although, some just bring it out naturally COUGH LUCIFER COUGH. She's very condescending and patronizing, liking to flex her power and status in venomously sweet language. Hell hath no fury like a disparaging woman!
There will be S1 and S2 spoilers on this blog, though divergent in ways that concern Alestra. And while she's a woman, not everyone is "swapped", since I wanted to explore misogyny in Hell and Earth, as it would pertain to her.
