When would Voronwë next meet another elf?

Voronwë felt a pull at their heartstrings the longer they stared into their companion's face, and he reached out to pull the guard's hands into both of his own. He cared little at the moment if any of the other guards espied them at a distance. He would not return for some time; he did not know how long. He did not know how long the journey would be there or back, how long they would stay with Círdan or their mother, or how long it would take to sail to Aman.

When would Voronwë next meet Elemmakil?

An unspoken feeling there was between them, even now, as they were about to part. Voronwë still saw Auriel as his best friend, and his platonic soulmate, but with Elem it was different. More flustered they would get around him, and any moment alone with him seemed more intimate than with anyone else, even with the guard being as a stoic statue many a time. Yet they knew how to get around his stern exterior to the light and joy within. So, it was altogether a surprise when he — he! — expressed he would like to kiss them.

Their eyes widened slightly, though it was swiftly followed by a slight blush and the cracking of their typical smile, despite tears that were very near to falling over the precipice down his cheeks.
