Zootopia is still no. 1 on its third weekend! Here are my ‪Judy Hopps‬’ apartment designs. In earlier version, she had bunny dolls on her bed, a long photo of her siblings, and also a scene showing the exterior neighborhood. Happy Monday everyone!

The fun challenge in designing the environment is incorporating a good balance of literal and subliminal animal-like patterns and designs in the anthropomorphic architecture. The exterior must have those sensibilities but should not look like Monsters, Inc. These are concepts I did based from earlier version of the story. Time of day: daytime/normal hours of operation. Picking up from my last posting… after major story revision, lighting changed into night time when museum is closed. These are the revised location designs that ended up on the big screen.
