Natal Planets in Retrograde in the Houses ✨✨💫
A retrograde is when a planet appears to be moving backwards from the perspective of someone on earth. Retrogrades often internalize aspects of ourselves, and a natal planet that is in retrograde in a house will often illuminate areas of struggle in our lives.
For example: If Mercury was in retrograde at the time of your birth and Mercury is in the sixth house, you would have a retrograde planet in the sixth house✨
THE FIRST HOUSE:Insecurities follow you like ghosts from past lives. You accept them. Believe in them. Become them. Others will find solace in who you are and who you have always been but the question is do you see everything that everyone sees in you in yourself? Has your Rising sign ever truly felt “right”? The things that people say about you, do you take them to heart or do you brush them off? Do you believe that you know who you are at all? The key to internal decay is self hate, and you have to learn how to keep self hatred at bay. Do not hate yourself for changing. For not relating. For not knowing who you were yesterday. Or who you will be tomorrow. It is not your fault that your identity and where you are heading in life may constantly change. There is no limit on the amount of times that you can grow, decay, and grow again. Do not hate yourself for things that no one has even begun to understand (the secret is: no one really knows who they are). You will bloom in time. Your identity does not have to be of things that do not feel right.
THE SECOND HOUSE: What do you value about yourself and what do you value in others? Have you ever verily (truly) believed yourself to have created or have naturally possessed steady foundations? How does one place a worth on themselves when they cannot place a concrete worth on anything else? It’s going to take a while to discover what you value in life. What you value in yourself. What you value in others. What you value in the world. There is a need for a steady place to fall back on here and you must create your foundations in life with yourself and nothing else, because no one and nothing else is promised in life except for you. The only person that will be constant and will always be there is yourself. Look back on everything that makes you warm inside, everything that you value straight down to your heart. Take note of these things. Find them in others. In the world. But most importantly, find what you value in yourself.
THE THIRD HOUSE:There is beauty in the way that you observe. In the way that you think. In your silent consideration. But such a beautiful mind cannot stay inside forever, and it is not fair to yourself to believe that your mind is not worthy of other’s ears. Your thoughts are not worthless, your words are not empty, your mindset is not one that no one would like to discover. The flaws that you find in your mind are just that, in your mind, and things that are in your mind are not things that others will see in you. A mind cannot grow without space, a person cannot expand without a growing mind. Your world cannot change without growing inside. Everything about your thoughts is something that you have birthed from your mind, and anything that has come raw, unfiltered, purely, from you is not a curse. It is not unimportant. Your words can take up as much space as other’s. Hold onto your words and your thoughts. Treat them with kindness. Treat them with respect. In time they will become a part of who you are.
THE FOURTH HOUSE: Your home is a wound. You withdraw to protect yourself from things that have not been forgotten. You do not rely on others because those that you once relied on have hurt you in the past. Those that you considered family as a child have hurt you, have caused you to revoke your emotions from the world, to revoke your trust from the world, to revoke yourself from the world. You cannot always hide from the world within yourself, you may be the only person on this earth that is guaranteed to not betray you but I promise that others can be kind. Others can be soft. Others can be a source of something long lost. Making a home within yourself is not the only certain way to remain safe. Reach out to others that you truly feel that you can trust. Learn how to let how you really feel dominate a conversation. It is ok to find warmth in others. They cannot hurt you anymore.
THE FIFTH HOUSE:You do not take up too much space when you are being yourself. Not all attention is meant to harm you. It is okay to be comfortable within yourself and for others to see that. Existing as your entire self and not just a part of yourself is essential to taking care of yourself. Do not limit your identity and your natural glow in fear that others will attempt to hinder it. Others cannot define you. Others cannot say that you are “too much”. Others cannot say that you must remain stagnant in what you have always been or who you always are, you are allowed to expand on the identity that you showcase to the world. Because at the end of the day, will their words truly matter? Who is the person that will judge all of your judgements? Who is the person that will reflect on how far you’ve come? No matter the question, the answer will always be you. You are yourself and no one can change that, so why limit who you are because of what you fear others will say or what they have said? Do not censor yourself or what you love because of opinions that are not your own. You have spent far too long on your identity to hide most of it.
THE SIXTH HOUSE: Your mind may be one that is not the clearest but such a mind is not limited to being dysfunctional. Distraction, procrastination, collaboration, there is a strong need to find peace within your mind so that you can find peace within your entire self. Do not let anxious thoughts bombard your mind at all times of the night. Do not let things that are not promised worry. Seek help if your anxiety has gotten the best of you. (We are not always equipped to handle certain things on our own). You may become ill often, especially in the areas of the body that the sign on your sixth house cusp rule, but sickness does not have to define who you are. If they do not understand that you are hurting, internally or externally, mentally or physically, it is not your job to explain it to them. Above all, take care of yourself, and not just parts of yourself, but your entire self. Take care of your mind. Your heart. Your body. Your soul. Try not to be cruel to yourself. Try not to put yourself down before you’ve given yourself a chance to get up. I promise that in time everything will be alright.
THE SEVENTH HOUSE: The parts of yourself that you see clearly are the parts that most people reject. People reject the parts of them that are cruel. Unjustified. Things inside that do not feel right. This quality that you possess does not make you someone with too many flaws but it does make you extremely self aware, you are aware of the shadows that you cast on yourself. However, make sure that your intentions and interests are clear before you act on something. Try not to back out of long standing commitments. Try not to rely on negotiating your way through life. You are an ocean and it isn’t wise to just show the surface. There is beauty in the depths that you possess, and it is better to show others who you are on the inside than to feel exposed. You can show others your shadows, your dark places, you do not always have to uphold the standard of someone that is balanced and polite in life. Things that are hidden will eventually come to the light. And you have to be ready for that.
THE EIGHTH HOUSE: You do not dismantle everything that you are, your mind, your body, your heart, to understand what has hurt you and how to heal it on your own. Destroying yourself again and again is not healthy, self destruction under the name of self discovery isn’t self discovery at all. It is only a way to make sense, to make a purpose, of things that have been left to fester in your heart. Above all the truth is that sometimes the answers, the anecdote, the universal cure, is not in yourself, you will have to look somewhere else. Or rather, to someone else. Sometimes the cure is within warm eyes. In between a gap within one’s teeth. Something that is guarded by familiar skin. Do not be blind to others that may heal you, I promise that others will be able to understand and be able to cope with your pain with you and not just for you. You do not have to over compensate the lack of control on the inside with an excessive amount of control on the outside. Your home will never be in control if you do not have control of yourself, you have to grow on the inside for your home to grow too. You have to calm on the inside for your home to calm too. You must possess peace within to experience peace where you live. And sometimes that peace is within someone else.
THE NINTH HOUSE: Your beliefs do not have roots. Your thoughts do not have a place to call home. Your opinions on the purpose of this world are not opinions that will remain still. And just like everything that you have come to accept as a part of who you are you are not able to remain in one place. For every home that you’ve lost you make another, for every person that has hurt you you distance yourself, for every wound that comes with growth you run away. You were hurt by your home. You made another home. And you didn’t go back at all. You cannot run from things forever because somewhere in time there will be something or someone that will outrun you. And I am most afraid that it will be something/someone that can truly hurt you. It is okay if you do not know your morals. Your philosophies. What you think about life. You do not have to escape just because you do not know. Not knowing is not a reason to not stay. Be kind to yourself and allow your thoughts, your ideas, what you define the world as, to blossom with time. I promise that you will find what you believe in.
THE TENTH HOUSE: World(definition)
“1:
the earth, together with all of its countries, peoples, and natural features.”
A fact: You are a person on this earth.
A conclusion: The world cannot exist without you.
Do not feel as if there is no room left for you here. That there is not a space on this earth for this purpose. That all of your efforts in life will not be heard above the accomplishments of others and that what you have said you have done will fall on deaf ears. Everything that you have done is enough on its own. You do not have to underperform in fear that your best would have never been enough. Indecisiveness will not end you. You are not weak. You are not worthless. Deep within you have hope. You have goals. You have aspirations. You just have to find them, accept them, and act on them. Finding what you truly think your purpose is in life will not be an easy task but it is a task that will ultimately be worth it. Begin on a journey of self motivation and never look back. You will get farther than you believe.
THE ELEVENTH HOUSE: Society is something that you have felt has alienated you. The number of friends that you’ve had is only a number of people that you’ve lost. Something that you may have always felt is that you do not belong. That you are an alien in the place that you have always lived, that your community does not not accept you for who you are and never will. So you do what you have been taught and isolate yourself. You make relationships that will not go any deeper than an acquaintance. You may feel disconnected from everyone, even yourself. But I promise that there is a space that can only be filled by you in society. You do not have to prove that you know where you belong to others. You do not have to tie yourself down to a specific part of life. You do not have to claim a place or a person that you identify with. These things are things that will come with patience and self discovery. Above all, be kind to yourself and your place in this world.
THE TWELFTH HOUSE: Who you are in the inside is not who you are on the outside. Who you present to others is not who you are at all. You can repress and repress and repress but you cannot repress the truth about yourself. You are not seen the way that you should be seen. You are not treated the way that you should be treated. The thing that you hide from others and from you is yourself. Who you are is something held deep inside that is rarely ever shown the light. Who you are is in your eyes, in your aches, who you are is with you where you lay at night because who you are is you and no matter how hard you try, you cannot hide yourself from you. Whether you are aware of yourself or you do not even know where to start with who you are, there is an uncertainty about yourself that have caused you to put yourself in storage. To erase yourself. To make sure that there are never any real traces of yourself. You do not want to be discovered by those that you fear can hurt you. You do not want to have a reason to fear others and what they are capable of doing once they know you. And I mean a soul deep, heart deep, ocean deep kind of know you, a kind of “know you” that can only be granted by you and no one else. Reveal yourself to others. Reveal yourself to the world. Reveal yourself to the world. Reveal yourself to yourself. There are some things, some people (you) that you cannot hide or hide from.
