i think Peter as Tony's personal intern could go so many funny fucking ways and i am so surprised that i haven't seen more people taking advantage of this fact. imagine it:
Peter has been given an internship with Stark Industries as Tony Starks very own personal intern. Now, Midtown and the public do not know this (all Midtown knows is that he HAS an internship, whether or not the students believe him. here, the teachers at least do). Peter is in Tony's lab after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and is usually there during the weekends as well.
Hence, he starts to act more and more like Tony as it goes along. Just imagine people walking up to him to have a conversation, and he starts saying some bullshit.
Teacher: everybody, turn to whoever you are sitting next to and work on this assignment together for the rest of class, please.
Peter: *turns, nods, goes back to his own work*
Classmate: uhh. so are we going to work on this together, or?
Peter: *silently slides his paper over. it's completed* just don't talk to me.
Even more, he'd start to have a relationship with the Avengers as well, not just as Spider-man, but as Peter Parker. And, by spending so much time with Tony, he's gotten significantly more confident.
Imagine him deciding to mention the PSA's with Steve.
Steve: hey, Peter, is Tony around?
Peter: if I knew, I wouldn't tell you
Peter: I had to listen to you lecturing me for two hours after school on a Monday. I'm sick of your face, Steven.
Steve: ...you weren't here on Monday? We also didn't have a case together? I haven't seen you since Thursday last week.
Peter: *turns, gives Steve the most deadpan stare he can manage* so, you got detention.
Steve: ...I'll see myself out. Hey, FRIDAY? where is Tony and help me get as far away from this teenager as soon as possible
idk i just think there are so many comedic possibilities and i need them utilised.
