First off, I was over weight before I relapsed, so the weight I’ve lost, people think it’s something to be proud of. I’ve honestly never even been this skinny in my life so I don’t know what I’d do if I lose too.much more haha. Buuuttttttttt here’s some tips.
1: SLEEP: at least sometimes. There’s no need to stay up for more than one or two days at a time. Pace yourself.
2: EAT: There’s always something you can choke down. Eat something with protein and nutrients when you do eat. Avoid eating too many sugary treats to help prevent tooth decay.
3: CARE FOR YOUR TEETH!!!!!!
This is one of the most important things to me. I floss twice a day, brush after every smoke session, and rinse with hydrogen peroxide every so often . I also hold my pipe behind my teeth. It won’t make much of a difference, (I mean cmon, we smoke meth) but it can’t hurt.
4: WORK: If you have a job, (and haven’t fucked it up yet. ) don’t lose it! We’re doing an upper, as long as you take care of your basic human needs you are able to be there and do your job correctly. So do it. I haven’t missed one day of work since I relapsed.
5: HANDS OFF!!! Don’t you dare pick at your skin at all, and NEVER EVER EVER pick at your face. Believe me, I know it’s difficult. It was difficult for me to not pick at myself before I had even tried the shit. But as long as you keep your head on your shoulders (sleeping/eating/socializing) you will be able to practice mind over matter. You know that if you touch whatever it is. You are not going to stop until you’ve created a giant world ending , life ruining, crater in your skin. So just don’t start. Avoid looking in mirrors too closely or for too long. They trap ya. Haha.
ALOE VERA: Is the best thing in the world. Seriously. If you do end up picking and fuck your life up, 100% aloe gel with no dyes or added fragrance, or just aloe straight from the plant if you can get it. Heals your skin quickly.
And for the ladies trying to be pretty tweakers. If you fuck up your face, aloe makes for a seal for problem spots you’ve picked at and makes it easier to conceal. Also it’s a wonderful primer, and it evens and tones your skin naturally.
