Loki Laufeyson Quote Prompt #2: “Darling, you look gorgeous covered in their blood.”

Loki had taken you to Asgard wanting to ensure that you couldn’t run away from him, at least not back to Midgard.
However he wasn’t expecting you to be weirdly okay with him taking you, telling him that you had quite grown tired of the life you had before.
Having friends and family but you never truly felt close to them, like they didn’t actually care about you but didn’t say it to your face.
Loneliness is what you had resigned yourself to, not feeling fulfilled in any aspect of your life no matter how you tried to change it many times through the years.
Dating was a bore to you, having to tell a new person all about you over and over again, never getting any further because you never felt a spark.
That all changed when you encountered Loki for the first time, it was like you had been drowning and you were finally afforded oxygen yet again.
Entirely different to anyone you had ever met in your experiences, and he utterly intrigued you to no end.
Fortunately you did the same to him, and he could not get you off his mind driving him nearly mad with frustration not knowing how to find you again.
When he finally did after stalking the area where he had met you before, he didn’t know how to approach you, but he didn’t have to because you were drawn to his presence immediately.
Telling him that you didn’t think you would see him again, in your mind wondering if he had been thinking about you as much as you had been dreaming about him.
Not at all aware that he could read minds, your very thoughts washing over him taking down the remnants of self control he had every intention of practicing.
Tipping your chin up to look at him with a giant smirk on his features, his beauty stunning you into silence unable to focus on anything but him.
The next thing you knew you were no longer on Midgard but in a place just as beautiful as him, astounding you as you circled around you trying to take everything in at once.
That was a long time ago now, and you were fully settled into your life with him, never for a moment wishing you could go back.
Until some creeps decided it would be a good idea to take you then try to ransom you to the Kingdom, thinking they would pay top dollar to get you back.
A single cent would not be afforded to them, because what they had actually done was set off the God of Mischief and he would not rest until they paid for taking you away from him.
Revenge was a dish best served cold and the frost giant in him was begging to be let out in a reign of absolute terror, but he fought back the primal urges inside of him, afraid that he would frighten you horrifically in the process with how brutal his other half could be.
With the help of Heimdall he quickly locates where you are, muttering to himself how incredibly dense these idiots were not thinking that is the first thing that he would do.
Teleporting right to you, a gasp leaving your lips as you opened your eyes to see the love of your life standing there before you.
Unable to speak as instantly a fight broke out between your captors and Loki, grunts and hits landing the loud noises filling the space causing your ears to start ringing.
Manifesting his favorite daggers he began swiping and slicing at any body part he could get near, blood being spilt in every direction, flying from his blades hitting nearly every surface including you.
They were no match for Loki of course, and soon they all lay motionless on the ground, either dead or slowly bleeding to death unable to get up anymore.
Seeing the look of shock on your face he feared he had gone too far, walking over to you, tipping your chin up at him just as he did the day he took you himself.
“Darling, you look gorgeous covered in their blood.”
Slamming his lips to yours in deep passion, able to feel even his anxiety and worry that still lingered built up from the very moment he found out you were missing.
Untying you from the chair they had you bound to, you throw your arms around his neck gently weeping into it, needing to release everything now that you were safe and back where you were meant to be.
Whispering softly that he will never let anything else like this happen to you ever again, and that is his solemn promise to you.
