Hard to believe it’s been almost a year. You were a kindred spirit. You vanished as quickly as you appeared. No note of goodbye, no phone call or text. I still think of you. That stench of sex and magic. I wonder sometimes was it all too much? Your heart still breaking from all the other tragedies in your life. Did you get away from him or did he and time catch up? Was it all a dream I had? Did I make you up? I guess I’ll never really know. But I have the memories of the late night talks and the illusion of a friendship.I still go back and read the texts. I wonder if I should tell our story..... Or let it fade away as simply as you did
