People’s misconceptions about Blake’s life have also become misconceptions about Willow’s. Neither of them were born rich, they constantly moved around (Nicholas’ expeditions for mining Dust/Ghira’s activism and leadership in the WF) before “meeting” their romantic partners who groomed and terrorized them, separated them from their family. While Blake had the strength and ability to leave Adam, Willow could not leave without abandoning her children to Jacques completely due to his abuse, control over both the company, her image, and his amount of resources. Leaving would have meant leaving her children alone with him.
